If I could give 0 stars I would!! Room smelled like mold and urine from the moment we walked in. Took 25 minutes to check in because front desk was no where to be found! 3 workers walked by me on their phones and didn't even say a word to me. He finally gets there and is rude the whole time. Get our keys go up to the room there were dead bugs on the floor ac/heater fuse would blow every 10 minutes would not stay on. Cigarette burns in the carpet next to bed MOLD growing in the drawers under TV. TV had a busted screen on the bottom and looked like it was going to break off the dresser. The smell of pot all night gave us all headaches. Pretty sure hotel is used by an escort service. Lots of activity in and out all time day and not! Then said our room smelled like Cigarettes smoke and held my deposit!!! Health Department needs to be called on this place! I would even mention the quality of the food that I wouldn't have even given my dog to eat!! DO NOT STAY HERE! Pay the extra money to stay somewhere better!!

My significant other and I use to absolutely love Super 8 in Mokena. Staff was extremely accommodating every time we were there, however as time went on, this all changed. It is pet friendly yet they charge $45 per night per pet. Rooms are okay , yet they no longer have a microwave, however you can use the one down in the main lobby. Quiet and good for location on our end...however we will not be returning due to the change in friendliness and the outrageous prices for a 2 star hotel.

I look on google and $53/night. I walk in and they tell me $86/night plus a pet fee of $150.
You guys are the slum motel of mokena and you're charging top dollar while places up the street are giving nicer rooms, pet friendly, for a fraction of the price. You won't be in business much longer...... it's amazing you're still here now.

Multiple health code violations noted upon arrival. First room had a strong black mold odor and the bathroom appeared to have dried feces on the walls, pubic hair on the bath tub. Second room had some type of substances splashed on the walls, appeared to be human excrement , broken outlet covers, and some black substance on the walls and lamps. Bathroom walls were filthy and the room smelled fouls although not like black mold as the first room.
We were charged for the 4day reservation that we canceled. Continue to be told that the manager is unavailable and will call us back as soon as he gets in. This has not happened and we’ve been trying to reach him for almost 2 weeks. A report was filed with Wyndham management and details shared with them and we were also told that they will not be reimbursing us. Report has been filed with the department of health in Illinois and the Better Business Bureau

Checked in dropped our luggage and went to our convention meeting, returned at 12:30am turned on the heat no worries. Woke up at 3:00am to freezing room temperatures, worked with the heating unit and got it to come back on. Woke up again at 9:00am to a freezing room couldn't get the heat on, their telephne didn't work so I had to go online to reach the front desk. They sent someone up and he told me that they had a work order put in several days ago to fix the heat. So why would you book a customer and put them in a room where you knew that the heating system had a problem? We are both lucky we didn't get sick, we are senior citizens and cold freezing rooms is not a good fit since we both have health issues. Book somewhere else if it's in the winter or better yet grill them up at checkin, in proving that the heat/water/toliets/telephones/fridgerator are all in good working conditions before you book.

Worst experience ever!!!!
Dont book here. Rooms were dirty, plugs were not working. Entire hotel was smelling so bad. There was a old indian guy workong at the desk, he was extremely rude. They dont wash bad sheets and all until it has been used for three days in the name of water saving. If so, why the hell you guys are charging 80$ per night, this should be 20$ per night.

This is an average value hotel. Room was abit musty smelling and i found the reason why .when I walked into the bathroom and saw that the tub above us had been leaking on the ceiling and had not yet been fixed i knew the culprit. We just shut the bathroom door and turned on the fan and the musty smell went away because it was contained. Overall a decent place to stop , sleep , shower and leave. Nothing fancy at all but you get what u pay for and for less then 100 bucks for the night it was good. I wouldnt spend anymore the that. Dennys is right across the street. This Denny’s is a nice clean location.
