I would not recommend this hotel. Our rooms, advertised as non-smoking, smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The decor is incredibly dated. The sheets had burn holes.

We checked out within 3 hours of arrival. Even though front desk personnel would not offer a refund, it was worth the extra cost to stay at one of the better hotels up the street.

We had a non smoking room that smelled like smoke. Hallways smelled like piss. AC didn’t work. Asked for a new room but only smoking was available. Wouldn’t give us a discount for the inconvenience. Breakfast was literally bread and honey buns with a single gallon of milk for everyone. Pool is advertised but has been out of service for years.

Positive: Location is easily accessable from highway. Negative: There was many things I did not like about this hotel. Only one of the lights worked. There was only one working outlet. They did have a TV but, there was no cable or service, no phone in the room. The fridge was nasty. The toilet seat was broken. Ect.

Absolutely one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. Entered the building and it immediately stank of weed/cigarettes, was told to make sure we "didn't smoke in our room" since it was a non-smoking room. Entered the room and it immediately smelt like no one has ever listened. The whole room was gross, the floors looked like they get vacuumed Maybe once a month, the bathroom was in a similar state. The sheets and covers were absolutely gross, covered in stains that looked like bodily fluids, junk under the covers, etc. Immediately went back to the front desk and requested a refund as there was no way we were staying there. (We had some friends staying in other rooms and there's were just as bad if not worse) Even though we checked in using Wyndhams own site we were told we weren't able to get a refund. Been dealing with their customer support team since and have not been getting any responses back. Do. Not. Stay. Here. Which really sucks as it's in a great location.

The hotel is in a good area however it is far behind on repairs and maintenance. The hotel itself had terrible lighting inside and out, poor front desk service, and was grungy. The room had no additional deadbolt and was poorly cleaned. The carpet and bedding had stains on it. Two of the outlets were in disrepair and would not have passed a fire marshal inspection. The mini fridge compressor was loud and the back coil was ran excessively hot. The towel rack had been broken several times and poorly put back into place. The shower drain had to be completely pulled out for the water to drain. Had the price been significantly less than competitors, it may justify to stay in this terrible hotel. However this particular night the price was only $26 less than the competitor. Not worth the savings. Save your money and time on this one. It needs an overhaul.

NO POOL! I don't care that Google says they have one. They don't. I cannot express how dirty this place is... the floors are sticky and the air smells... I went to buy my own sheets and a pair of slippers just so I could stay.

On making a trip to chicago from Southern Illinois, decided to stay over , would not recommend this place to anyone. rooms were clean, we had rented two rooms. The heating system didn't work in either room . One room had a space heater that just barely kept up with th chill. The other room turned on the heater and it never got above 58. I had went to sleep soon after entering the room. Woke up about midnight cold, Took the covers off second bed to keep warm. Then next morning upon trying to leave couldn't get out of the room. Had to call front desk to get door opened.

There were bed bugs in my bed and I got bit up in my back. They put me in another froom. And they treated it like it's no big deal
