We spent 2 days for our anniversary and were extremely pleased with our stay. The location is phenomenal with gorgeous views almost 360°. The house is beautiful with many amenities. One of the best features is a winery with amazing wine and views right next door! Last but certainly not least is the host - Milton, he is wonderful and engaging and one of the best chefs around. Thank you Milton for one of our best anniversary weekends!

This was our second stay at Sunshine Mountain and it was even more amazing!! We had the best girl's trip ever, mostly because of the hospitality and friendliness of Milton and his staff. His beautiful home provides all the comfort and luxury one could ever want! Mr. Milton is a wonderful and talented chef who makes your favorite meals or will delight you with exotic taste treats (we highly recommend his caviar pasta!). The wines at the Winery are fantastic, I especially enjoy the Riesling! We can't wait for our next adventure to the Mountain! Love this venue, and you will too!!

We LOVED our stay st Sunshine Mountain!!! We can't wait to go back! Milton is the best host. He gave us our space to nap at the pool, he offered us dinner that was amazing! He even shared some of his own stash of wine (we were to be quarantining, so the winery was not open). He was an exceptional host. We plan on making a visit to sunshine mountain a regular thing.

This is the second time i've visited with my husband and friends and i'm soo glad to put a review here. First time we had our wedding ceremony along with our friends and second time, we have taken the house for 2 nights initially and then me and my husband decided to extend the stay as we have very memorable moments attached with this house.
Firstly i would like to tell about Milton who is really soo nice and kind heart. He is very friendly and calm going. And a great chef as well. He makes very delicious food and serves with all the love and care as i've never seen this qualities in any of the hosts in my life. Very responsive. As me and my husband are very new couple , Milton has always given us space and privacy. Very understanding. He has also provided the party lights and stuff during our wedding and was soo helpful( for a host, it's really not necessary to do all the stuff but Milton is an awesome guy and taken a lot of care in every moment)
Coming to the house, it is very spacious and located in the green wine yards. It's little difficult to reach the house in the night as maps are failed to recognize the correct location. But you will not regret with the location and it's outskirts after having a look in the morning. We had tasted the different wines offered by Milton. Very great place for a newly married couple like us (for families and friends as well) Awesome climate and weather makes us more romantic to enjoy the view. Good parking. Can use the swimming pool anytime (we had very good time during the late nights as well). Beautiful view. Overall, we had wonderful experience and if i visit California anytime, i'll sure book this house as we have lot of memories attached. Thanks for everything Milton. We would love to see you again.

So late review but finally getting to it because it’s definitely deserves 5 stars. We hosted an event here for our daughter’s first birthday and everything about this place is excellent. The views, the outdoor space and the service was fantastic. My family and friends really enjoyed the place. Plenty of close parking was also a huge plus. Place is clean and even big enough to have a piñata. We ended up staying a bit late but owner was super cool and allowed us to come back the next morning to finish cleaning up. Highly recommended. Will be coming back for sure.

We found an earthly paradise at Sunshine Mountain and an overnight of total indulgence. The feeling began at the porte cochère and extended into a lofty great room. Past its gorgeous Limoges and furnishings was a stunning view of agricultural fields, orchards, vineyards and chaparral. Our lush private bedroom was clean and quiet. Sunshine's marvelous host treated us to superb wine before manifesting a delicious several-course meal that he cooked himself. A world apart!

Staying on the winery was great! And the service was amazing - Milton made us delicious meals whenever needed, very talented cook! It’s slightly hard to find but worth it for the beautiful views. Our room was massive too!! ☺️

We went for a family wedding, and it was a perfect place to stay. Away from the hustle and crowds of the city, but close enough to experience what San Diego has to offer. Gorgeous setting. Family/ relaxed environment. Even had a sweet little dog that filled me "doggie" needs.
