As a military family we travel quite a bit and have stayed in a multitude of places throughout the last 15+ years. The Sunshine Guesthouse has become our favorite! We have stayed here twice, and are planning another stay in the coming month! We found this hidden gem while traveling back home from Christmas vacation. We had our dog, four children and had already traveled about 3000 miles in two weeks. Our belongings were secured on the exterior of our truck, so we weren’t comfortable staying in the city where we could easily lose everything. We booked last minute with the plan to leave in the wee hours. However, the guesthouse was so clean and comfortable, we decided to nix our schedule and just enjoy the comforts provided to us! Our hostess made available a detailed guestbook with all the local restaurants, stores and attractions. The beds were extremely comfortable, with equally cozy bedding, large spacious rooms, and plenty of space to spread out.

On our travels back across the country in March, the Sunshine Guest House proved itself once again to be a home away from home, providing us with the comfort and relaxation needed while our household goods were making its way in a semi to our new home. We stayed a few nights, ordering out, playing outside, enjoying movie nights, and playing board games.

We (9 Officers) recently lost an amazing friend and deputy in the line of duty and needed a place to fit all of us for his services. Kait accommodated for us to come into her guest house, last minute and offered to pay for our night stay! Amazing house, and even better host! If you have a large group this house would be perfect! Lots of space for activities, and in our case getting to catch up with fellow officers!

This is a wonderful Airbnb rental house with 4 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. It is on about 4 or 5 acres with full grown trees and a small pond. Great for family get togethers or a relaxing weekend.
