We recently hosted a baby shower for my son and daughter in law with 72 people in attendance. What a special day! All was wonderful from start to finish. Food was excellent too. I’d like to give a big shout out to Arsh Sidhu, Tenaya Bresson,and Abbie Wieda who worked with us to ensure our event was a huge success! ❤️. Thank you all!

Back in October 2024 I attended an event and one of the most concerning issues was the bathroom situation. Instead of having proper, on-site restrooms (or even nearby, walking distance), the venue provided bathroom trailers. Unfortunately it was dark and you had to use your cell phone for lighting to get into the trailer and these trailers were not ADA accessible, which made it incredibly difficult for elderly guests or those with mobility challenges to use them. Additionally, parents with babies couldn't even bring strollers inside, which caused further inconvenience for families. This is something that should have been addressed BEFORE renting out the space, especially since it was clear that the venue wasn't fully equipped to handle such events.

The AC was also "not working" that day making the venue unbearably hot and uncomfortable. Considering that the event was indoors, this was a major oversight.

Lastly, the staff was unhelpful and unfriendly, which only added to the disappointing experience. It felt as though the venue wasn’t properly prepared or managed, which is concerning for anyone considering booking it for a special event.

The hosts made the hall look beautiful, otherwise it was just a dead space trying to make money before it was ready. Come on, AC and bathrooms? You should be ashamed of yourself. Don't offer your hall if you can't deliver the minimum standards.

This place clearly doesn’t prioritize guest comfort or accessibility. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone

I recently attended a party at this banquet hall, and I was shocked at how poorly equipped the venue was. For starters, there were no actual bathrooms inside the hall. Instead, they had trailer restrooms set up outside, which were not ADA accessible. This was incredibly inconvenient and unfair to guests with mobility challenges—it’s hard to believe this setup is even legal for an event space.

On top of that, the air conditioning wasn’t working, which made the hall uncomfortably hot. The staff had to leave the doors open and bring in fans to try and cool the room, but it didn’t make much of a difference. Plus, with the doors open, bugs and outside noise became a problem, making the experience even worse.

It’s disappointing that such basic necessities weren’t provided. A venue hosting large events should have functioning AC and proper, accessible restrooms.

Thank you, Sunrise Banquet Hall, for doing an excellent job with my daughter’s birthday. I received so much positive feedback from my guests, especially about the food, which was fresh, warm, and delicious. The staff went above and beyond in coordinating the event. The venue was beautifully remodeled. Thank you, Kamal and the team, for exceeding our expectations.

I’ve attended many events here but the last event I attended was really disappointing. There were no real bathrooms, just a trailer bathroom outside that wasn’t ADA accessible - there were no ramps. On top of that, there were no changing tables anywhere for babies.

To make things worse, the AC wasn’t working, so the space was uncomfortably hot the whole time. For a place that hosts events, these are pretty basic things that should be taken care of.

I recently had a big party at this venue and unfortunately got the impression that it is still a work in progress and our event felt like a trial run for their unfinished space. The service and facilities fell far short of what was promised and what should be expected for the price paid.

Of the many issues, these are what stuck out the most: The only accessible bathrooms were a couple of trailers parked outside and not ADA compliant. Guest had to walk across the street to the Hyatt if they wanted to use regular bathrooms. The AC stopped working halfway through and made it very unpleasant indoors. Many of the electrical plugs were not working, causing the vendors to relocate in unsuitable positions of the room.

In its current state, this venue is not equipped to host events. The combination of unfinished facilities, safety hazards, inadequate amenities, and unprofessional staff made for a deeply unsatisfactory experience. I cannot recommend this venue to anyone.

We had my 75th birthday celebration at the Sunrise Event Center in Vacaville, Ca which was complete blast. Arsh and the staff at the center did a tremendous job serving me and our guests. We received nothing but praise from our guests for the top notch service provided. The food was fantastic! They made our event very memorable. After two weeks our family and friends are still raving about their experience! Keep up the good work!

Some time ago, I met with Kamal, who was genuinely nice, easygoing, and flexible. We were excited to host our family parties there, but it quickly became clear that he has hired some truly terrible staff with appalling customer service skills. When it came time to book and organize our event, Arsh was an absolute nightmare to work with—so difficult that we seriously considered canceling the entire thing. Both she and the woman working the day of the event left us feeling utterly disappointed and stressed on what should have been a joyful occasion.

They made everything a hassle, throwing tantrums while we had to put out fires during the first half of the event instead of enjoying ourselves. Our family spent the night trying to handle issues to avoid stressing out the bride, but it was a losing battle. For instance, they failed to provide adequate lighting for the trailers outside, causing our guests to trip and fall. We were promised access to the bathroom in the main hall, but when our guests with young kids and elderly family members walked over, they had the doors locked on us.

The poor vendors we hired were treated like trash by the event organizer, who rudely demanded they move their equipment. Overall, I would not recommend hosting an event here if you have to deal with these two staff members; they will do everything in their power to not be helpful and set up barriers just because. On what should have been a happy day, all they had to do was help us realize our vision and make it a happy day, but instead, they actively worked against us. Sadly we tried reaching out the owner to voice our concerns before writing a review because I understand it is a business, however there has been no answer.
