So far our experience with the staff has been great! My partner and I were very hesitant at first because of being an LGBT couple in small town neighborhood,but Ashley made us feel welcome and was very excited to work with us. We can not wait to see how the wedding turns out next year.

Spanky Entertainment Dueling Pianos recently performed at Sugar Spring South for a FUNdraiser benefitting Waterloo High School Athletic Boosters, and it was an aesthetically impressive venue with super friendly and helpful staff! We will definitely recommend to future clients!

Sugar Spring South was absolutely incredible to work with! They helped from the very beginning of the wedding day process to make sure not one detail was missing. The workers were very responsive to phone calls and emails. No question was to little for them to answer. On the day of my wedding they helped it run very smoothly. They explained to the wedding party how they walk in and to my husband and I how to cut the cake for the best photos! Throughout the night they consistently came up to me to make sure everything was okay or if I needed anything. We also decided at the last second that we wanted to extend our reception for another hour and they were more than happy to do that for us. I had the best experience start to finish and would highly recommend this place to anyone. Not to mention it is beautiful before any decorations were added at all.

I attended a reception in December and a niece married at the Ranch. Both locations are absolutely incredible. You can tell the staff loves what they do and is shows. The built in light and sound system was something I had never seen in a wedding venue. Dinner was elegant and the dancing was like a night club. There is also a huge really cool bar where you can have a conversation even while everyone is dancing. Highly recommend this place.

Attended dinner and a movie last night. The venue decor is beautifully rustic with a warm cottage feel. Everyone was very welcoming and attentive. Felt like being amongst friends.

Wonderful venue with super friendly and accommodating people. Kelly and Ashley went out of their way to make sure our wedding went spectacularly smoothly; all I had to worry about was not messing up my vows. Will definitely get married here again 😁
