I have been seeing Melissa on and off for approximately 6 years. I was referred to her for my young son who was struggling with some big feelings. After working with her with him and seeing how wonderful she did with my son and our family I asked to see her. She is absolutely amazing and has helped me with so many situations in my life. I have suffered with depression and anxiety, and I truly believe without her I would not be the strong woman I am today. With each session I left feeling like I had just had a deep conversation with a friend. This allowed me to walk away lighter and with a clearer head to focus on the issues at hand.

Knowing that she has now shifted her primary focus and career to first responders is not surprising. The compassion and understanding she has is far beyond that of anyone else I have ever encountered. She is extremely passionate and dedicated to her clients. She goes above and beyond to make sure her clients have the tools and resources to get through whatever they might be experiencing. I would absolutely recommend Melissa to anyone who has to work through any situation.

I believe every person could benefit from some kind of therapy. Life can be brutal, and sometimes you just need somebody to vent to. Melissa is incredible. I’ve felt the openness to talk about harder issues, and had days where I felt like I was confiding in a friend. I think what really sets her apart is her care for her patients. Therapy can be awkward, but she’s somebody who immediately makes you feel at ease and like what you have to say is important. That’s absolutely vital in mental health. I won’t be seeing anybody else in the future, as I’ve definitely found the person I want as my therapist through this life. I could not recommend somebody higher. As a first responder, I didn’t think she could understand a lot of things job related. But, she just gets it.
