I’ve been going to Sucre for about 4 months now. I get my nails done by Mari and I absolutely love her! She is patient and incredibly meticulous. My nails easily last over 4 weeks without a single chip. I love the gel overlay vs gel on its own since it lasts longer. Dede the owner is friendly and has surrounded herself with a great team.

genuinely one of the best nail salons i’ve ever been to!

i really wanted to start my nail growth journey after years of acrylics from chop shops and press ons that destroyed my nails. they were frail, thin, constantly ripping and very slow growing.

my nails have completely transformed since I started coming to this salon. the first set is Gel-X, after deciding my nails were still too frail for builder gel (personal choice, i wanted them to grow some more first) when they did not have the color i wanted they mixed some together to create exactly what i wanted. this set last 6 weeks and it was only because i was ready for something new and finally had enough nail growth underneath to get builder gel.

mind you, after those 6 weeks i still did not have any lifting or chips in the polish.

i then decided i was ready for builder gel (i chose this shop originally because it was the most affordable here.) and again, did not disappoint. i’ve had these on for 7 weeks and am going for a fill at the 8 week park. again, no chips and no lifting. the little gems on the bow did come off, but lasted 4-5 weeks.

i truly feel their work + nail honey cuticle oil saved my nails and i can’t wait to get them done next now that they’ve grown so long.

the nail technicians here are truly so talented, and overall the shop is very friendly, inviting and clean!

2 weeks later and my no chip is still on which is rare for me! Working in healthcare, usually within a week the polish starts to peel, but not these. Prices are very fair and they're very detail oriented with their work, and friendly too!

I LOVE my nails! I never ask for nail art to avoid disappointments but I sincerely trusted Dede’s attention to detail and creativity! She did not disappoint! I asked for nails that inspired “summer vibes” & she delivered! Although I told her to do whatever she wanted on my nails (again, she earned my trust), she still invited me to make decisions by showing me options. She dedicated 5-8 minutes visualizing the art and color palette we’d be using. This consultation really made me feel appreciated as a client! I mean you get it right, girl? Sometimes social media has so much to choose from and it’s overwhelming! Well, Dede has amazing customer service and communication skills & she will guide you to achieve a beautiful art piece on your nails.

Dede is such a natural at what she does and is so authentic. She’s gentle, incredibly understanding and so charismatic. As a business owner, this is so necessary.

I appreciate her flexibility to add me to her schedule the day of! I also think her prices are so reasonable considering that she is very talented and attentive! I certainly recommend Sucré. I’ve had great experiences & I think you will too 😊

I have never been a nails girl but I got my first ever GelX set done at Sucré and I’m hooked! Dede and all the nail techs are very talented and meticulous.

My first set was black french tips with mushroom nail art. I got so many compliments and it lasted over 4 weeks (pics from 2 and 4 weeks). Excited about my second vampire inspired set just in time for halloween 🩸

Love going here, the gel x manicure comes out perfect every time and the shaping, filing and painting is always so precise! The spa pedicure is amazing and comes with a scrub and warm little foot booties that feel so heavenly. Best salon I've ever been to in Chicago and I've tried several in downtown, Streeterville and Logan square. Never going anywhere else again!
