Super cute sandwich shop located on busy 162nd Street in South Holland. I picked up sandwiches for a big group and everyone enjoyed their sandwich. The corn beef was especially delicious. I also enjoyed the salad- a tuna salad. Super friendly staff. I will definitely go back if I am in the area.

Tainted love is playing as I write this and somehow it's perfect. My love of a good hoagie will take me one day. And this is a good hoagie.

First of all, the meat. Traditional deli style prep, but this isn't your local Subway. The variety of meat is solid and their pastrami game is on point. Getting it heated up melted the Swiss just right. Hoagie bun is just tough enough to remind me of the grinders of my youth at old snack shops.

Second the fries. Shoe string, perfectly cooked. Garlic is dusted with a Garlic salt with just a bit of a kick. Messy but good. However this is a TABLE order. It's a large order solo.

Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Ask if you have questions. The seating is comfortable for lunch and the decor is late 70s down to the stained mini chandeliers. The music is pure new wave 80s pop, so think Boy George and Duran Duran at inoffensive levels. Very clean.

Price point is $15-20 a head. Worth the price in my view. Mark this local treasure in your rolodex if you haven't already.

Food is so good. They have different types of bread to choose from. Options and prices are reasonable.
The service is GREAT . They heat your sub if you want to.
Environment is very nice , cozy and clean!

I placed an order through uber eats, I stated I wanted mayo and I paid extra for pickles, got the sandwich and no mayo or pickles and it was not what I’m use to as far as quality I’ve been going there for at least 18 years, I called to inform them my order wasn’t make right and got a very nasty , rude and unprofessional young lady name MARIA she was so nasty telling me I didn’t ask for mayo and that the pickles are on my sandwich I offered to send a video to show her since she insisted that they were on there and that the kitchen said they did it, she was so rude I stopped her and said I’m a business owner and her custom service and how she is speaking to me is awful and she is a poor representation of the shop I’ve been coming to forever so she basically said the sandwich has pickles and u didn’t order mayo so call uber they have your pickles and mayo and hung up, I will never order from here again

The food is good rite went but was hasn't now. I go their allot lunch time and sometimes allot of time they have along line. Specials are good for lunch . Garlic fry are good also you get allot of them for a good price.

Total waste of money, I drove about 30 miles to get here. I wanted a super dipped beef with cheese in between the meat, tomatoes and onions. They forget the extra dip it, so I had to do it myself. And the cheese isn't between the meat like I asked, and the meat isn't good today. Smh... Total waste
