We were looking for a comfortable place to set out from for hikes in the Garden of the Gods Recreation Area and could not have discovered a more fantastic place than the Stone Face Manor Bed & Breakfast! From the beginning when we showed up 3 hours early to make sure we could find the place and were met walking up to the door by the host, Shanna, to the morning we left to begin heading home, we were made to feel like nothing was more important than us. Shanna invited us in (the room was already ready for us) and gave us the grand tour. Our room, the Hawks Nest, was spacious, comfortable, and had the best view out the window of the surrounding woods and stream. The common areas were immaculate and the kitchen simply amazing. She even had a strawberry cake freshly made for her guests. We stayed two nights and the breakfasts were superb! The second day she made a chocolate mousse pie that was melt-in-your-mouth fantastic. Your tastebuds will be satisfied and you will not go away from the table hungry. Shanna even provided us suggestions for hiking trails and places for dinner in nearby towns. We felt so comfortable here that I'm sure we will find time to come back. After all, there are more breakfasts to sample and more trails to hike!

We had a fantastic stay at Stone Face Manor. Tim and Shanna were wonderful hosts, friendly, knowledgeable, and just fun to be with. I am a vegetarian and Shanna was so accommodating. The breakfast was delicious (both mine and my husband’s, who is not a vegetarian), and the desserts, divine!||Rooms were nicely set up, even with the busy wallpaper (Shanna, Kelly said you don’t have to change it), and the bed was very comfortable. Location was perfect for our purposes. And even though my husband and I are both allergic to cats, neither of us had a reaction to the two cats on the property, which demonstrates how clean the place was. ||We really enjoyed the whole area. Garden of the G-d’s was beautiful, other hiking amazing, but the key to the trip was starting and ending each day at Stone Face Manor. Can’t wait to return.

What a terrific place! Shanna and Tim are great hosts. 5 stars for accomodations, breakfasts, friendliness of the owners, location and anything else you can think of. It was a lot of fun. I can strongly recommend staying at Stone Face manor. |We'll be back.

Our stay couldn’t have been any nicer. The home is absolutely gorgeous and Shanna and Tim immediately made us feel right at home. Our room was huge and beautiful with a king bed. Shanna made us a breakfast worthy of a five star restaurant each morning and it was beautifully presented as well. We’ll definitely be returning to Stoneface Manor.

This was my wife's and my second stay at Stone Face Manor. We were hiking through the area and ended up spending four nights with Shanna and Tim. Shanna's breakfasts are fantastic and most evenings there is some delicious treat set out for the guests at the end of our daily adventures. There's an art to doing a B&B right: 1. Accommodations are clean but comfortable 2. Breakfast is an event that sets it apart from just another breakfast joint 3. The hosts know how to check on your well-being without being intrusive, and 4. They make your visit to their area just a little easier to navigate by lending a helping hand where they can. Shanna and Tim do all these things well.

We were so delighted to discover Stone Face Manor B&B. Our weekend was excellent. Our host Shanna, thought of everything we might enjoy or need to make our stay amazing. Her attention to detail made our getaway weekend a memory for a life time . We had homemade desserts waiting for us every evening and breakfast was beyond delicious. Took a bicycle group of 10 friends to the area for the weekend. They could not have been more accommodating!! Shanna and Tim provided everything we were looking for in a B&B and more, from delicious treats every afternoon to outstanding breakfasts each morning, restaurant recommendations and so much more. It’s a clean, quiet and beautiful place in the woods that we will definitely return to!
