I have been here about 4x. I come here typically before or after church on Sundays. I like the variety of the drinks and menu. They have a nice blend of deserts and healthy food choices.

I plan on coming here a lot more when the weather is better soon to take advantage of the lake also.

The staff you can tell do the best they can when they get smashed sometimes. You can tell they are doing there best. That is all a customer should care about when hoping for good service. The place is busy because they promote good food amd drinks.

Going here for already 2 years after I moved to Lake Zurich. Never failed to make my mood better. Staff is amazing, calm and chatty. Food is high quality and worth their price. A lot of options to eat, drink or snack on. Always informing about events. They made everything for people to relax and feel comfortable. Overall, a very good place.

Love this place! Food and coffee are very good. Wish I could resume coming here regularly, however they seem to be chronically short-staffed, weekday mornings, (6:30am) and unfortunately, I do not often have the time to wait 15-20 minutes for a drip coffee. Wishing stompin' grounds well!

Crowded little coffee shop on a Saturday - there is ample seating. More parking in the back. It's right across from Lake Zurich so easy to stroll or bike with beverage. I had scone, bagel and mocha

great coffee!!! the area had a rustic feel, and sold some small cards, candles, etc, and was decorated with a lot of plants☺️coffee was excellent- we tried honey bee latte, and lavender coffee- flavors were strong but not overpowering, overall lovely place😁

I love Stomping Grounds Café! The food and drinks are always great, and the atmosphere is warm and cozy—perfect for relaxing. Whether you're just getting coffee or a full meal, it's a great place to unwind. The only downside is that the food takes a bit of time to prepare. Overall, I highly recommend it!

Locally owned in Lake Zurich, inhabiting the business space of the since closed ‘Old World Bakery’ this shop has large shoes to fill.

When entering the store front you will be welcomed by a bright green counter and small selection of *local feeling* dry goods. The large lime counter top distracts from the too dark and small menu 30 feet away and the pastry case pushed to the corner of the counter.

My latte was good. Not perfect, but pretty close. Unique flavor and good quality espresso. The machines used were cheap and flavor bottles were not on display, but I can gather that high quality ingredients were used based on the rounded flavor.

I did find the mismatched and attempted juxtaposed industrial to modern French interior distracting and overly cluttered. The outdoor dinning is very nice but also cluttered.

Overall I would recommend for a decent espresso but not a cafe experience.

Stompin’ Grounds is a lovely cafe! Their homemade scones are delicious and their coffee is strong and tasty. My reasoning for four stars is that the Wi-Fi is weak. This is not the place to come and work, as it often time outs, especially if there is more than one person with a laptop. However, it is the perfect place to meet up with friends and chat while enjoying the goods. I’ve had a sandwich here in the past as well and it was warm and delicious. I would highly recommend this cafe!
