Having our wedding at the Sterling Hotel was the best decision we could have made. The team from Wedgewood Weddings was amazing, from our coordinator, Averi, to all the staff, everyone went above and beyond to make this an unforgettable experience. The planning process was as smooth as it could be, which gave us peace of mind knowing that we were planning until the last detail, guided by the right people. Even though this is an all-inclusive venue, there was a lot of room to make this wedding a personal experience. We worked with the WW team and the vendors to personalize our experience, making sure it went the way we wanted it to go. Finally, the food and drinks were perfect. While there is no option to taste the food immediately before your event, WW provides an opportunity for all couples to attend an event where almost all the food options they offer are available for you to try. We were more than happy with this and allowed us to pick the best considering our guests' preferences. Overall, we would highly recommend the Sterling Hotel by Wedgewood Weddings.

Very cute old building. The keyless system worked well, except I was unable to connect it to another phone so we could each get entry. Thankfully, they had a backup card key as well. The bathroom was very pretty. No microwave.

My husband and I recently got married at Sterling Hotel. This venue is very cozy and beautiful. It was one of the best nights of our lives. They have in-house vendors and buffet style option which was a hit because guests were able to grab as many food they like to fill up. The coordinators were absolutely helpful and always responsive throughout the planning process. We were able to make changes with the package we selected. On our Wedding Day, Katie was our day of coordinator. She was absolutely amazing and made sure everything was going well. She took care of my husband and I from beginning to end.

Katie, Averi and Taylor were so helpful and very easy to talk to. Anything we needed, they something prepared and more. They were so knowledgeable in all the things especially when it came down to picking and choosing the details. Katie, our day-off coordinator was superb, she was our calming presence when we were getting overwhelmed on our special day. She took care of everything from where to keep our phones down to our rings! She was our fairy god mother for the night.
Everybody did such a great job. The food was delicious, our banquet captian Scout was so sweet she made sure we were well fed the whole night , our dj Brian can read the room and just know how to switch gears to pick up the mood. Our bartender made all our signature drinks perfect (and we had 4!)

We really appreciate everything the team did for our special day to be truly remarkable. Hands down will definitely recommend Wedgewood Sterling Hotel.

My 80th birthday was a smashing success. Everyone was attentive to our needs and in a number of instances the staff knew what was needed i.e. leftover cake in a box to take home. The food was a hit with everyone, even vegetarians. Perfect and a memorable event!

I stayed at the hotel for a wedding hosted by Wedgewood. This is a review of the hotel only. TERRIBLE experience. No staff. No care for the facilities or the guests. Literally one person who sits in a caged room from 8am to 4 pm. The rest of the time you are completely on your own. Three nights...no maid service, no refilling of the minimal snack bar. Dirty glasses left on the one table on the porch from 3 nights prior (they were still there when I left this morning). Piles of trash left behind the bar in the lounge. A can of spray carpet cleaner left on the table in the hallway outside of my room. And (why not?) absolutely no hot water in the shower. The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. And absolutely no attention to any detail. The facilities are fine, but given the apparent lack of any care, that will not last long. A terrible choice. Would absolutely never return.

We had an amazing wedding! Everyone on the team went above and beyond to make our day so beautiful and special. Taylor and Scout were super helpful throughout the whole process and day of the wedding. We used the venues florist, caterers, and DJ and we are so happy that we did.

Per their own description, the Sterling Hotel operates akin to an AirBNB for "the benefit of the customer", but *shockingly* (/s) all the benefits seem to favor the hotel.

Don't expect to be able to stow your bags at the hotel after checkout (like any other place I've ever stayed in my life, in any country/state).

Don't expect housekeeping or many hotel amenities without some special request or paying $$ (they provided a single extra towel in the room for a multi-day stay and no regular housekeeping).

Don't expect a responsive front desk in their off hours or weekend (we had an urgent question upon checkout and actually never received a callback, despite their outsourced customer service representative assuring us one was requested/one was coming).

We were able to keep our bags at a hotel down the street, for free, on the day of our checkout (so we could explore the rest of Sacramento).
