I know if I go to State Street Theater, I'm gonna have a good time. The Big River Swing Machine nights, drag shows, and open mic nights are all a blast. I have had the pleasure of performing here as a musician and it was wonderful.

Desmen makes alcoholic drinks that are fruity and refreshing and do not taste like alcohol. Brennan makes a mean espresso martini.

Douglas is adaptable, creative, and sharp. She has transformed this part of town, and she actually makes it fun to be a young person in Quincy.

As someone who didn't grow up in Quincy, State Street Theater makes this area feel less cliquey. I feel like I belong here.

This is the place to go in Quincy if you are looking for high-quality cocktails and excellent entertainment. There is a rotating menu of specialty cocktails, but the bar is stocked with a wide selection of liquor and house-made syrups and mixers. I’m a cocktail girly and they hit the mark every time.

On the entertainment front, the venue provides a mix of local and national entertainment from music and bands to drag and movie showings. I had a great time at Pride Prom last night—so much joy and care in that space!

This is an inclusive, fun venue with great staff. They are doing a lot of work to preserve history while also providing a welcoming space for folks in Quincy.

Over priced drinks, slow staff. Mediocre entertainment. If you're visiting you might as well go, but just get a table and bring your own liquor. They won't look out for it anyway. The men's bathroom's urinal doesn't work, they just put ice in it. It's the least amount of effort you can have and still have a venue. Highly recommended if you're bored and it's free, but if you have to pay you should check out the other fun things to do around Quincy.

This venue is truly the most wonderful space I’ve ever been in. Clean, kind, caring, and wonderful business. The owner and staff are incredible at what they do man’s take care of guests with the upmost sincerity. I adore this venue and encourage ANYONE looking for a space to hold an event or party to book here!!!!!

The energy this place has is incredible! The owner is so nice! They make sure everyone that walks through those doors feels safe and welcome! 10/10 highly recommend having events or parties here!

I love the atmosphere of the new State Room Theatre! Every time I’ve been there they’ve had great live music, and it’s perfectly balanced so I can enjoy the music while still being able to have a conversation with friends. The bartenders are great (best amaretto sour I’ve ever had!) but I love that they also offer some top notch mocktails too for those that want to hang out without drinking alcohol. The new owners really care about creating an environment that feels good and is welcoming. They’ve definitely achieved that and I highly recommend you check it out!

Was at the concert on 10-14 but as soon as the concert ended they started yelling at everyone to leave. Mad disrespectful and disappointing on the staffs part also paid $12 for a lemonade and vodka (bottom shelf stuff) so theirs also that. Wouldn’t recommend attending functions here in the future. But the bands were super great. Staff left much to be desired.
