Our hostess, Carolyn, made us feel welcomed from the get go. Our room was comfy and clean with a beautiful view of the mountains and Saguaro cactus (so many and so tall!) which we've only seen on TV westerns. Her establishment is a peaceful hideaway from all the hustle and bustle of Cave Creek and we look forward to staying there in a couple of years.

Great rustic reset in Frontier Town. Seguro Room was very large with Jaccuzi tub and seperate shower and eat in dinette. Great change of pace from Downtown Phoenix and Scottsdale. Truly a gem with great views!

We stayed for a week, but wish we stayed longer! Carolyn is a wonderful host. The location and property are great. We stayed in the Saguaro Room which was so cozy and comfortable, and spotless. Views are wonderful and we used the fireplace each night. I saw all four rooms, and they are all great. Each one has it's own entrance, so it's like private studios, not your normal B and B. Breakfast(delicious and different each day)was in Carolyn's lovely home each morning. She went out of here way to make me a special breakfast for my birthday! We got to meet many friendly people from all over the world. We also had all the privacy we wanted if we chose. I loved petting Henry and Lita ( the resident ponies)everyday...not to mention Zola...Carolyn's adorable pooch. Cave Creek is a really cool cowboy town with plenty of great hiking, restaurants and nice local shops. Went to a real rodeo at The Buffalo Chip Saloon...fun place with great barbecue. The live music and food at Harold's was great. Definitely stay here if in the Phoenix area!!!!!

I've been staying at the Spur Cross for nearly 20 years. Carolyn is an incredible host and always whips up a great breakfast which always includes fresh fruit and usually something homemade. The rooms are very comfortable with a great view out the window of the Southwest landscape. It's the only place I stay when I'm in the area. Great restaurants are close by. 5 Stars!

Carolyn is a great host! She knows everyone and everything and can point you to whatever you need. We were very comfortable in our room, the Saguaro. The most comfortable bed, a beautiful view, a great shower (plus a whirlpool tub) -- just great! Then we had a delicious breakfast, plus got to visit with some fun people who had also stayed there.

What a great place and location, close to every thing Cave Creek has to offer, yet still private enough to feel that you are out in the country. Carolyn is an excellent host and serves a delicious breakfast. Our dog Max thoroughly enjoyed our stay there also, we will definitely be back.

Have been staying at SPBB for years...back just a few weeks ago after 3 year hiatus. Happy to report all still great...Carolyn still same engaging host, she and Carl still fixing those great breakfasts, Saguaro Room still quiet and comfortable (with fireplace), views still spectacular, Cave Creek and Carefree still funky and relaxed! Not sure how it could be better...highly recommend!!

This was the perfect place for us to stay. We loved it! Very clean, breakfasts were great and Carolyn couldn't have been a better host. A very unique, relaxing and fun place. I would definitely go back and would recommend it highly!! Thanks, Carolyn!!
