I got to Mackenzie! She’s absolutely the best! I went to her with virgin light brown hair and she turned me into a blonde and I’ll never go back! She’s extremely personable and is a pleasure to be around. I would recommend her to literally anyone.

I’ve been debating whether to leave this review, but I’m truly devastated. I came in for a haircut and blowout for my birthday. I had long, healthy hair and made it very clear that I only wanted about two inches cut. Kailee Moore suggested taking off a little more, and I reluctantly agreed—but that was supposed to be the limit.

She started by cutting my hair dry, then continued with the wash. The appointment itself felt a bit awkward, with little conversation, but I didn’t mind as long as the cut and blowout turned out well. I asked for long layers and subtle face-framing, but while she was cutting, I checked in and asked how much she had taken off. Her response was, “Mmm, they just swept it up, but not too much.” I had a gut feeling that too much was being cut, and I regret not stopping her right then.

I wear my hair naturally and have no heat damage—she even commented on how healthy it was. But in the end, she cut off at least six to seven inches—far more than I agreed to. Not only that, but she gave me a U-shaped cut, which I never asked for or agreed to, and the layers are way too short when I specifically requested long layers. This is absolutely not what I wanted.

I thought I would adjust to the shorter length, but it’s been over a week, and I hate my hair. I’m heartbroken and wish I had never gotten it cut.

To hairstylists: Please listen to your clients. If they don’t want a major transformation, do not make that decision for them.

She has helped the overall health of my hair by recommending products, and just overall tips and tricks. Kailee is the only person I trust to cut/trim and color my hair. I’ve been going to Kailee Moore for all my cuts and hair dying for just about three years now. I’ve never had a stylist so in tune with what I’m looking for while being extremely professional and talented in the process. She’s open to discussion and gives fantastic options when you’re on the fence. Not only is she thorough, but she’s always open to creative ideas and trying new colors, styles, etc. I usually stick to bright fantasy colors like bright red, orange, purple, magenta, and of course, bright pink. I constantly get compliments about my hair color and how long it lasts. She gives invaluable tips on making the color last, and it will, I’m the proof. I go every six months to get it redone and am always amazed at how well the color sticks. I truly can’t imagine going to anyone else, and if you’re looking for a knowledgeable stylist who’s going to do an incredible job, Kailee Moore should be your go-to.

I have been following her since the beginning, she is quite literally the best hairstylist ever!! She knows exactly what you’re looking for and the final product eats every time!!
