We are staying here with young kids before a school sports competition. We had a mix up and needed to have our room switched shortly after arrival. Jessica took great care getting us switched into a great room quickly with very kind service. Once settled into the new room we realized we'd forgotten a personal belonging in the first room. Back to Jessica we went, she greeted us with a smile again and quickly helped us get access to our belonging as well as making sure we had plenty of linens and water for all of us. Excellent service, thank you Jessica!

We had a reservation on 6/28/24 for the Springhill Suites Montgomery Millbrook/Pratville. I had received a mobile key that afternoon and asked if I needed to do anything else to check in, and was told no we are good to go, go on to our room. We used our mobile key to attempt to enter our room and were not able to get the door to open after several attempts. The light turned green but the door would not open. I returned to the front desk and spoke with the young woman who had red hair. I let her know our mobile key was not working and requested room keys. I also requested extra bedding as there are often times we have to call for it for the sofa bed, so wanted to get ahead of that since it was so late. I was told no, what we needed was in the closet in the room. I asked if when I got back to the room and found that it was not there, if someone would bring it up. I was told “no, I guess I’ll go ahead and give it to you now”. I returned to our room, and the keys did the same thing, turned green and door would not open. My husband returned to the desk this time, and was told the trick to get in, because “the doors kind of suck here”. We were able to enter the room and were quickly greeted with a blaring television on, a bed that was unmade and clearly slept in and wet towels on the bathroom floor. We immediately left the room, carried our belongings back down and returned to the front desk.I let her know that the room was either occupied by someone or had not yet been cleaned. She essentially gave me a shoulder shrug and I asked for a new room. She let me know that there were no other rooms. I asked if we could have someone clean this one, she said there was no one to clean it. I asked what we are supposed to do, and was given absolutely no options or help. I asked if I could speak with a manager and she said it’s after hours, there’s no one I can talk to. She agreed to give me an email, which was Triniece Griffin. Our family had to go find another hotel late at night, with small children and the staff there could not have been less concerned if she tried. As of today, over a year later I have heard nothing in response from the manager or Marriott corporate.

UPDATE: On 4/17/25 I heard from the Case Resolution team at Marriott after a final email attempt on 4/13/25, who has assured me that this situation will be addressed with the hotel and offered their apologies and points.

Good staff at the front desk. Checked into my room and there was a bloodstain on the sheets so I went down and asked for a new room. They were out of king rooms so I was swapped to queen (not a big deal to me) got to that room and the doorframe was broke and the door can likely be pushed open with a decent amount of force. Photo attached. Decent amount of highway noise in odd room numbers as well. Dont recommend.

I have stayed at this property several times and the annoyances are now more than I can take so I will not be staying here in the future. The annoyances by themselves are not huge but in total they make me not want to stay here anymore||First, you cannot control the air conditioning unless you are willing to get up every two hours in the middle of the night to have the motion sensor reset. WHO DOES THAT? Second the thermostat will not go below 68 degrees. Sorry property owners but some customers like a cold room; if you can't accommodate that then this isn't a good choice for me.||Second the hot water is not as hot as I would prefer. I would guess this property is some type of environmentally friendly program so they sacrifice the comfort of guests to accomplish that. I'm not going to stay here because of that as well.||Third, the internet service here is terrible. The regular speed for non upgraded customers is about 3 meg. But when I log on with my user name the service for upgraded speeds is identical. I've had to call the provider three times because its a systemic problem that the property management apparently doesn't know how to fix. It inconveniences the customer but I guess that's not a big deal to them.||Another small thing but irritating...why do you not have bread on your breakfast bar. A lot of people actually eat toast for breakfast. Yes, you have English Muffins and pastries but I've never seen bread that wasn't available on any breakfast bar..even in China. I do not understand this.||I'm in the middle of my last stay at this property and the housekeeping as sub par. My sink wasn't cleaned and the conditioner bottle was left empty. Not a good attention to detail.||The only bright spot for me here is the night shift auditor Karen. She has always been very responsive to my questions and unfortunately, it doesn't seem that comments I've made are passed onto the appropriate people because I've never received a response to any of my questions about the different issues here.||That tells me that they don't take customer service seriously so it's time for me to find a property that does care about that when I travel to the Montgomery area.

This is a newer location so it is clean and nice as most of the newer ones are. The gym is a little sparse compared to most Springhill but it is okay. Breakfast was typical. The thermostat won't go below 68* which is annoying but many locations do this.

Very nice very clean hotel friendly staff the rooms are spacious and they have a great breakfast in the morning this location is also conveniently by a lot of restaurants and stores if you like to shop my family and I will be coming back in the future

Positive: Location. Bed was comfortable. Negative: The staff was basically "rationing" the coffee pods. Only one wastebasket in the entire mini-suite (none in the bathroom). Frosted glass bathroom door right at foot of bed so light shines in your face while trying to sleep.

Wonderful location right off the highway, but you did not hear any highway noise, great night's sleep. Good mexican food right down the street, you can walk to it!|We stayed here back in June 24 with our other family group and had a great time also. Cleanliness both stays. Breakfast both stays were wonderful. Hotel staff all kind. Nice stop on the way to Florida that's why we came back again, we knew this hotel was very nice!
