Check-in was smooth as butter with DARRYL. He was knowledgeable, efficient, and polite.
The room was modern and clean. The only drawback was the layout. When the sleeper sofa was open, it essentially closed off access to part of the room, so we had to crawl over it at times. However, when the sleeper was closed, there was plenty of space. The bathroom was well-lit and also spacious. The shower head had adjustable settings and good pressure and the drain was draining. Wall mounted toiletries.
The king bed was very comfortable. Some of the best sleep I've ever had in/on a hotel bed.
Breakfast had a lot of hot and cold flavorful choices and the coffee was great.
The pool area was a wee humid, but there was plenty of room and seating and the water temperature was pleasant.
Very easy to get around the neighborhood, relatively close drive to shops and restaurants in Schaumburg. Secure building.

My only complaint is that there was no hot water which is important. Other than that the kid at check in last name (Romero) was so professional, polite and very welcoming which is honestly so refreshing to see now a days. The halls and rooms were clean. Beds firm which I like and the air fan actually stays on all night if you want so you get that nice humming sound all night. Pool area is nice wish they maybe provided floaties/vests for little ones. Breakfast had a decent selection. Great location close to everything would recommend.

I stayed at this Marriott (Room 426) expecting a comfortable and romantic night with my fiancée after Valentine’s Day, but it was a huge disappointment.

First, the bed was terrible—both sides were sinking in, forcing us to sleep in the middle, and now my back is in terrible pain. 3/10 quality at best.

WARNING: Avoid the potholes! The road to the hotel is awful, with two massive potholes so deep that my car hit metal on metal before I even got inside. That was not a great start to my stay.

The heating/AC barely worked, and I was cold all night despite adjusting the settings. The walls were paper-thin, so I could hear noise from the hall, upstairs, and even multiple rooms away. It was impossible to get good sleep.

On top of that, the TV placement was awkward, making it difficult to watch, and the bathroom lacked privacy, needing an extra door for the sink area. The bathroom towels were old and rough, the paint was peeling, and my fiancée even suggested I buy wipes to clean the bathroom myself—which should never be necessary in a hotel!

On top of that, the parking situation was a mess. They ran out of space, and I almost had to park in a corporate lot next door. I barely found the last available spot, and it was clear the snowplow service either didn’t clear enough areas or the hotel simply doesn’t have enough parking. Guests risk getting towed just trying to find a place to park!

The only positives were the friendly front desk staff and a nice-looking lobby, but that doesn’t make up for the fact that I paid over $160 for an experience that felt worse than some $60 hotels that were just fine with no complaints at..

I feel exhausted, uncomfortable, and extremely disappointed with this stay.

I’m requesting the guest services reach out to my complaint I’ve submitted via your website.

This should not have happened.

I was extremely disappointed. We normally stay at the Madison location which is beautifully newly remodeled and well taken care of. So it was a shock to see how different this location was. After a long week of traveling and staying in hotels, we just wanted a comfortable, welcoming room. This was not our experience at all. We also ended up having a reaction to something in the room. Unsure what it was which made our experience feel even worse.

The staff was amazing. Checkin was a breeze.
The location is great since it's right off the highway.

Overall a great experience. The water in the bathroom faucets was cloudy, likely due to mineral build up, but the sink by my microwave area was clear water. The staff is very friendly and they have several different healthy protein options for breakfast. Bonus points for using cage free eggs and having boiled eggs as opposed to using powdered junk.

Visited this hotel when we came to Medieval Times and we will definitely be back. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, which makes the experience even better. The rooms were fairly large and very clean. Public areas were all clean and well kept as well.

Upon checking in to our room we noticed that the trash can wasn’t emptied, there were things on the floor indicating that it was not vacuumed (or vacuumed poorly.) On top of that both, the beds were not fully made. Pillows were out of place and it seemed like someone had been playing under the covers. When we informed the front desk they were apologetic and put us in our new room. While at first glance it seemed better- I later discovered this half pill on top of a coffee lid place on top the microwave. We have kids so we immediately disposed of it but it’s clear that someone in housekeeping isn’t being thorough. Later on while sitting on the floor with my kids I noticed there was some cereal under the couch. Wasn’t totally under, and definitely reachable by vacuum. Overall not confident the rooms were cleaned adequately.

Room: Clean, but uncomfortable. Mattress needs to be replaced, it made snapping sound when sitting down or laying down. Pillows were extremely clumpy, not usable for sleep. Couch saggy. Plenty of outlets. Sink outside of bathroom, so to use the light in the sink area at night will shine light right on the bed.
Service: Great service. Front desk employees were very nice and got us pillows when we requested them.
Location: Accessible to highway.
