UPDATE: A few days after posting this review I did hear from the general manager and he apologized for my experience and promised when I decide to use my voucher to call him directly and he will make certain my visit is remarkably pleasant.

I waited a week before posting this review because I was very angry last week. I wish I could rate them higher because my spa experience was wonderful. I had a voucher for a free night's stay, booked through the hotel’s Room Controller. After my spa experience, I tried to check in but was told I couldn’t stay without surrendering the actual voucher unless I paid full price. Despite pleading that driving an hour home would ruin my sense of relaxation, the front desk person, Felicia, said it was hotel policy and there was nothing she could do.

From a chair in the lobby, I called the 1-888 number and was advised to ask for the general manager. He was off, but after pleading with Joshua, the front desk manager, he agreed to override the policy and let me stay. By this point, nearly an hour had passed, and I was so upset that I decided to leave. I immediately emailed Warren and Amy, who had issued the voucher and booked my reservation. I also left a voicemail hoping for an apology or explanation. A week later, I have heard nothing. I will be escalating my displeasure with Ross Bridge in Hoover, AL, and its staff.

I will never go back. My coupls massage was supposed to be included in my hotel. When I went to check out they charged me an extra 500 dollars. The hotel manager tried to make it right, but he could not over ride the spa manager. *Keep in mind it was my 40th bday and we had already spent a good deal of money with them.

OmG! Where they been all my life. The experience was awesome. My hotel stay, spa, food was the best ever.
Massage and day spent enjoying the amenities was what I needed.
That salmon salad with lavender honey dressing was so good, I had two days.
Can't wait to go back.

I would give zero stars if it was an option. Had a girls weekend to relax and our entire experience was a terrible one. To begin our massage was set for 12 noon, arrived 1 hour prior, spa was overbooked, could not use the whirlpool nor the sauna. Because lockers were not available my friend and I had to share(no biggie).
As mentioned our massage was booked for 50 mins due to check out time, brought back late at 12:10 and completed at 12:55, so after undressing the message was about 30 minutes. For $200 per person a huge disappointment. The amenities were again overcrowded at completion of massage, so no after care either, could not access showers or hairdryer. Very poorly run spa and not the standard I have enjoyed in the past.
The hotel was no better, poor customer service and staff lacked training.
The only saving grace of this girls weekend was the food and staff at Brock’s.
Marriott shame on you for allowing this facility to carry your name.

Could not recommend more. It was incredibly relaxing, the staff were so professional and accommodating, and the spa amenities are awesome and very clean and nice. If you need to treat yourself and relax, this is the place.

Upscale resort! The most comfortable bed and pillows I have ever slept on!! Big breakfast buffet, with great choices! The spa was very nice. It’s the total package! Can’t wait to go again!!
