I had forgotten how wonderful this place is until I returned after about a year, and it didn’t disappoint! The ambiance is beautiful, creating a perfect spot for a relaxing brunch. Though we were told the wait would be 30 minutes, we were seated in just 15. The service is always quick and efficient. We ordered the vegetable omelette and the garden skillet, which came with a soft, fresh biscuit that was absolutely delicious. The freshly brewed coffee was excellent and paired perfectly with the meal. To top it off, we ended with their pancakes, which were a great way to finish. The whole experience, especially on a lovely Sunday morning, was just delightful. Our server was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. Overall, this place continues to be a go-to spot for a quick, satisfying, and memorable brunch!

We recently moved into the area and had a wonderful experience at Southern Belles. The atmosphere was very relaxing and had a homey feel. All the staff members we encountered were incredibly sweet and attentive, ensuring that we had a pleasant dining experience. The food was delicious, and the portions were quite generous for us. We visited on a Monday late morning, so the place was not very crowded, and we were seated promptly. Will become a regular here. Also liked there is public parking right across the street. From someone's that lived downtown Chicago The free parking is a treat!! Ha!

Cute brunch spot w generous portions. Really liked the corned beef hash and the huge fluffy pancakes! Quite loud as it was crowded. Bring cash if you want to avoid a 2% for credit card charges, didn't see the tiny message until after I paid.

Go here!! I’ve tried almost every breakfast joint in a 15 mile radius and this is one of the best. Plenty of free parking around the area. More interesting brunch choices than just your standard diner type food.

5 stars for their bonuts (omg - came fresh and warm, so fluffy but with a nice denseness) and their shrimp and grits. The flavor of the shrimp and grits is awesome with a good kick to the Cajun cream sauce. Coffee is just ok but I do appreciate they gave us the thermos for our table. They have a bunch of other interesting brunch items so we definitely will be back to try others! Highly recommend!

We went for breakfast. We went early before the crowds. Place was quiet but busy with to go orders! Lattes were handmade. Food was hot and delicious!

We are so pleased that we chose to try Southern Belle. We had had a stressful morning and this treat was just what we needed. Beautiful and clean, restaurant. Our server Bella was so nice and so eager to please. She has a great work ethic. The Fig & Pig Omelette was superb! Huge slices of toast and delicious jam. The Corned Beef Hash was also delicious!! We both thought the coffee was some of the best we’ve had ~ Red Eye Coffee. Kristin at checkout was a breath of fresh air. A very sharp young woman. I highly recommend this restaurant and would definitely go again.

Southern Belle's is a cute spot on the edge of downtown Barrington. We had the opportunity to enjoy a delicious breakfast on their front patio for my birthday, yesterday. It is a cute spot and we enjoyed the space. I would recommend removing one of the four tables where we are seated, shifting the outer tables further away from the stairs and maybe adding in some flower boxes on the railing and between the stairs and table as a way to shield guests from patrons coming and going. We kinda felt "on display", and it could use some spurcing up.

The food was flavorful and prices similar to other brunch places in the area. Overall we had a wonderful time. That said, the food was a little cooler than I would have liked when it arrived. Not terrible, but it didn't feel as if it came to us right from the pan.

We will enjoy a breakfast or lunch here again soon.

Nice, quaint place. Service was really good and food was great! Love their biscuits and gravy.

Lots of options to choose from, but their breakfast choices are just great. Try them out! We'll definitely be back!
