Food:
I am not a coffee connoisseur. I purchased a 'Soul Brew', which has cinnamon, white mocha, and other components. I was expecting something sweet but was met with the strong bitter coffee taste. Not my forte to judge.

As an FYI for tea lovers, the tea brew is of one kettle temperature.

Service:
Standard. Their workspace is interestingly small, as they operate from a small room. Friendly demeanor from the staff but nothing noteworthy on service.

Atmosphere:
Free wifi and plenty of wall outlets, which makes it great to sit and work / study. However, I came at 1PM and a DJ was blasting hip hop. I love hip hop, but was not expecting a live DJ... at 1PM. This location is operated jointly next to a brewery, so I somewhat understood the vibe... but 1PM is quite obnoxious. I enjoyed the music but it was not the vibe was looking for in terms of focusing.

The space itself is nice and spacious. It is nice and tidy and have games on the side. The outdoor space looks cozy and relaxing. Overall great and versatile. It is a hit or miss for work / study though.

I absolutely ADORE soul good coffee

The baristas are kind, patient, and always have a great recommendation

Their space in sketchbook brewery is spacious with a lovely beer garden! I mean really, it’s beautiful

For the kids, they have steamers to drink, coloring pages, and board games!

My husband got their Honey latte and I got their Soul Good latte. THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT. I’m trying to expedite our return visit. The staff was delightful and I can’t wait to visit their own storefront when it’s ready too. Grateful to have a quality, local coffee spot like this in Skokie!

Ambiance is cute, a window tucked inside Sketchbook, staff was sweet and attentive but if you’re only going to serve 2 food items at breakfast time it’s probably a good idea to have enough of both so you don’t run out by 9 am.

I love Soul Good with all of my heart! I am obsessed with their matcha latte and ice chai latte (I’m not a big coffee drinker.) my husband loves the Americano. And the energy there is always high vibes 🤍

I just love soul good coffee. Everything from the lattes to chai to matcha is delicious. The staff is always kind and friendly. I wish I could get there every day! Can’t wait for their permanent space to open. I do love their current set up with sketchbook because there’s so much room to sit with friends and chat. The signature soul good latte is my favorite iced or hot. I love the soul jolly cold brew around the holidays.
