It has been years since I've eaten here and I'm glad that Covid did not change the place. Quaint, family oriented, lots of options, and reasonable prices. Very much enjoyed being there today.

Pros: open, friendly place with good portions and lots of options. They even have a good vegetarian (not vegan) options including a florentine Benedict. So yummy.
Price is good too.

Cons: can't really think of any.

2 breakfast meals with a side, hot tea, hot chocolate, and 4 desserts to go total $50. Impressive.

Awesome service and atmosphere. Our food came out quickly. Plenty of coffee refills. Definitely an iconic Midwestern family restaurant. My only complaint is that my scrambled eggs were a little runny. No substitutions. Also, prices are unreasonably high. $3.89 for a side of toast? Are you getting the whole loaf?

I love coming to Sophia's. I live in southeast Rockford and drive all the way to Roscoe sometimes by myself just to come to Sophia's because I am so at home and comfortable there. Of course the food is good and the employees are very friendly and welcoming. I can tell a lot of the customers come there often by how casual and friendly people are to each other. There is a family restaurant much closer to my house which has good food but I really like Sophia's so I drive up there where I know I can relax and feel at home and have a good meal and talk to people a bit. Love it!🥰

Great atmosphere and good food. I like that they make most of their food fresh instead of cooking it from frozen. My kids got hamburgers and they were not the frozen patties you see most restruants have. Majority of their prices were reasonable.

A perfect little spot to grab breakfast/lunch before heading to the airport. Our server was very sweet and attentive, the food came out hot, and all at the same time, and the ice water was exceptionally crystal clear and tasteless, just like it should be! 🙂

Had lunch at Sophia's yesterday with some friends. Everyone had something different and everyone enjoyed their meal. Service was very good and the they may also have atmosphere was very pleasant. Would definitely go back.

It's been years (close to 10+) since I've been to Sophia's and on a whim we decided to go. Little has changed, which isn't a bad thing. Very much a mom and pop type of place. Service was good, the food was like we remembered. Prices were a little more then we expected but with the current economical climate, it's understandable.
Would seriously recommend this place for a decently priced breakfast that tastes like home.
