The rooms are like apartments, full kitchen and living room. Rooms are nice but it’s like an apartment complex. The rooms are outdoors, there are no elevators. I had to carry my luggage up two flights of stairs. They obviously have long term tenants that smoke in their rooms then the smell comes through the vents. The curtains are sheer so anyone can easily peer into your room even as you sleep. I wouldn’t recommend or stay here again due to the lack of elevator and poor curtains. Also, you have to schedule the shuttle 4 hours in advance.

I had a great 1-night stay here. It really felt like a home even though I didn’t use the kitchen. I specifically booked this hotel because I wanted to block out my snoring with closed doors while my friend slept in the living room. I was welcomed with a pleasant maple scent, the bed was comfy, the breakfast had a good variety and was tasty, the suite was spacious, and the shower pressure was strong. I loved the location because it’s close to the airport, grocery stores, and restaurants. The only thing that I didn’t like was the service from the Filipino woman at the front desk. When I checked in, she was impatient and talked to me and my friend like we were children, scolding us while filling out forms. Luckily, our stay went better than we hoped.

First off, I like the Sonesta brand in general. Lots of room for your money. I just didn't like this location. It was way too loud. Not only the planes taking off and landing but the car noise was substantial too. I only stayed one night and checked in on a Monday. Got there early but nothing obnoxious. They wanted to charge an extra $30 for early check in. Their check in time was a hour later than any hotel in the immediate area from a quick check so I felt it was a money grab. Sat in lobby and waited on computer and they finally relented once it got close to the other hotel's check in time.

BEWARE! I’ve had the worst experience with getting my money back from this dirty, unkept hotel.

I had a reservation Thanksgiving Eve. The first room they gave us, roaches. See photos. Went to the front desk, and they kindly put us in another room. Next room..roaches and roach excrement. That was it for my chances of staying there. My youngest is allergic to everything. This left me in a bind trying to find a place on such short notice and day before Thanksgiving.

Front desk personnel told me that they would refund everything and the young man was extremely apologetic. He advised that the general manager, Sam Tolosa, was not in to initiate the refund, but would be the following Monday.

Sam never refunded anything. I have in an email that he was sorry and would refund the money, but never did. Here we are, well into 2025. I thought Sonesta would do the right thing.

The condition of this hotel is embarrassing. Outside the building that night we saw broken furniture, shopping carts, trash left around the parking stalls. You can tell that they have long term tenants that are depreciating the site.

Do better Sam Tolosa. Do better Sonesta. This is not a good look. I now live in the area and will tell everyone visiting NOT to book here.

2 necessary room moves from a reluctant front desk staff. The first room move due to completely inoperable toilets in the building . The secondroom move due to a broken alarm that starts at 5:15am every day and goes into the afternoon, which was still not fixed at the end of our 16 night stay. We ended up leaving our trip 2 days early due to the conditions and lack of concern/empathy from the front desk staff. We tried to report broken glass near the pool area and staff wouldn't even listen to where it was located, or want to see our pictures.

Great choice near the airport, very close to the San Bruno BART station if you'll be taking transit. The rooms are clean, the kitchenette makes them very livable for an extended stay, and the rates are hard to beat for the region. The front desk staff are top notch and helpful; Stephanie helped us throughout our stay, and went above and beyond when we made a mistake during checkout. Would absolutely stay here again.

Stayed in this hotel with a group of friends. The suite layout is convenient if you need to sleep quite a few people. The evening staff were not the most helpful when I called about the airport shuttle to pick me up and take me to the hotel. The rooms could do with some updating. There are not enough outlets for multiple people to charge their phones and other devices over might. Do not pick this hotel if you are a light sleeper because the planes sound like they’re about to land on your head. I managed to get a few hours of sleep once I bustled out some noise-cancelling headphones.

Excellent place to stay. The suite was clean with a fully outfitted kitchen. The bed was comfortable and the shower had the best water pressure I’ve ever had at a hotel.

The pool was great with nice lounge chairs.

The free breakfast had some great options.

Free airport shuttle was prompt.

The woman working the front desk on 7/10 was excellent, ensuring I got in a room quickly and came and found me on the property to tell me that my room was ready.

My only con to this place was that the fitness center was not really a fitness center. A single treadmill, elliptical, and bike with one medicine ball in a small room that didn’t have any airflow. But as most don’t go to a hotel for the gym it did not impact my evaluation of this hotel.

Overall, would highly recommend.
