I stayed here before, over a year ago and rated it a lot higher. I am redoing my review because unfortunately the accommodations were not as great as they were the last stay.

Rooms were clean enough but could use some attention to detail. Crumbs in corners and you could just tell it was half way done. Sleeper sofa was full of crumbs when we unfolded it. We requested extra bedding and some pillows and received one. We are a family of five and there were only two bath towels in the room. Front desk could only hand me an additional three the next day so we had to share bath towels. Our soap and shampoo dispensers in the shower were empty on our first night, luckily we brought our own toiletries. I needed to do laundry & front desk clerk acted like he couldn’t spare any quarters, unless I purchased an entire 10$ roll. Breakfast improved but tortillas for their breakfast tacos are cold. The breakfast area is kept clean and lady working was very nice and accommodating.

I do like this location when I travel to San Francisco. I’d probably stay again and check the room out before I get comfortable for the night. I don’t expect perfection but traveling can be stressful with a family, toddler and a pet. I believe the hotel should be the least stressful part of the trip. Empty soap dispensers after a long day of travel or not having another dry towel to use is more than just a minor inconvenience when you look at it from a travelers perspective.

Last week we stayed at this hotel the room was clean and cozy but nothing else was right about it . Front desk agents are cold and mean . Room has nothing in it bathroom or kitchen essentials (no shampoo no soap or dental kit ) not even complementary water bottles . Breakfast was so cold no varieties at all . Traveled with my toddler and had no options of food. Please do better .

I stayed here over new years. I had a really great experience until I didn’t.

We left two jackets there and called the day after we checked out and we were ignored and told we would get a call back and never did. We then called again and was told to call back. Again we called back and was told we would get a call back.

We finally got an answer and they told us we didn’t leave anything.

This is terrible as we did and it sounds like someone stole it from us.

Great place to stay but be careful don’t leave anything behind

This is probably the worst stay I had. The rooms were not clean. There were stains on all the walls, towels and sheets.
There was a subway line passing right next to the hotel. The subway noise was as loud as thunder waking me up every 30 minutes at night. The gym and pool were closed. The lobby restroom was close.
The breakfast was as bad as everything else. They were out of breakfast items and I had to constantly tell someone to refill if I could find anyone. But some of the items were never refilled.

My family and I booked the 2 bedroom with the living room/dining room in Between. We were very impressed!!! The rooms were super clean the lighting was perfect where Most hotels are dark. The kitchen had everything you needed Down to the forks and spoons. The hot coffee and great hot breakfast 5 stars. Train and bus stop just down the street.

Do not listen to these excuses from site management - this organization has gone rogue and does not abide by displayed policy. They cater to long term residents and protect them, at your expense. This comes with highly unfriendly and unwelcoming, aggressive conduct from staff members. There are a few nice folks working there but management are using brute force tactics against legal paying customers. If they do not need legal money, perhaps they obtain funding elsewhere.

The second floor smells like cancer and that's because there is a full time cancer resident as reported to me by the hotel guest management team.

I have never felt so unsafe and had to walk on eggshells throughout my stay (day and night time) and still was forcibly removed from the property.

The odd part of the saga is that I was accused of making noise within 10 minutes of my entering the dormitory. The claim was that I was 'making noise all night and well into 2 am'.

This is impossible but I apologized and said we would keep it down.

The next night, I was disturbed again by two visibly angered employees and told they received non-stop complaints about me. I again apologized but started to become stressed out because I was unsure what was actually happening to my family and I.

After I told them I just got in the room 10 minutes prior, I really started looking for another place to stay. Eventually I found one but believe me - this establishment has gone rogue. Steer clear, it is not worth the trouble and do not listen to what management says, they speak at length but cannot recall any records, logs, or other management appropriate material to support any of their claims. Avoid.They ruined a large portion of my vacation, time i'll never get back.

I have stayed here for few weeks this August. My room is 443. I want to give this hotel 5 stars. The hotel is on the waterfront . It is so lovely to take a walk around the bay park. I feel very happy and relax when I see the beautiful bay view every day. The room is clean and front desk are very professional and polite. The staff Julio is very helpful and quickly resolve our issue. Millions of thanks from Mr Li!

Beautiful location overlooking the water. Very comfortable, clean, quiet, nice staff. Much nicer and more affordable than inside SF, very much worth the short drive when visiting the city. Just be aware kitchens don't have an oven but do have everything else.
