The front desk workers Brooke and Moises were very helpful during my 5 night stay. It did not matter if it was for my business or hotel needs they were there to help and they made my stay very enjoyable. I will come back to this hotel because of the great customer service I received from Brooke and Moises the week before Christmas in 2024. Thank you for your service during my visit.

I never stayed here before, but wanted something convenient when I went to game day in Berkeley. Rooms were really clean. Staff was really friendly. Only thing I would say was that the bathtubs could probably use a deeper cleaning, but they weren’t disgusting. The fridges are nice in the room, but would be really convenient if they had small freezers as well.

My stay here was not the best. The shower was not clean as well as I found a pipe I believe people use to do drugs? I'm not sure that I would return seeing how cleanliness was not taken into consideration when it came to room prep. We were offered $20 off for the inconvenience of the glass pipe being on the floor. I will not be staying here again. This is not a place to bring children either.

The location and view of this hotel are fantastic, but the cleanliness and customer service leave much to be desired. After a long road trip, we arrived at 1 a.m. with our children, only to find hair in the bed and a USED CONDOM WRAPPER on the floor. To make things worse, we were offered a room next door, which meant we had to pack up and move everything again. There was no apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience. The front desk simply stated, "We don’t have housekeeping after 10 p.m. You can either stay in the same room or switch to another one." This kind of response is completely unacceptable for any hotel, especially one that claims to offer a quality experience.

I would give this hotel five stars ... (the rooms were very nice, comfortable, and clean; the service was accommodating and friendly; and the views were awesome) ... BUT:

There was EXTREMELY strong synthetic fragrance being pumped into the air through the central air systems. Windows couldn't be opened, and the smell was so overpowering that my eyes were watering and it stung my throat. On my floor, it smelled and felt as if 100 bottles of cheap cologne had recently been smashed on the carpet.

I, personally, don't even have scent sensitivities, but if you do, DO NOT stay here. And if you have asthma or allergies to fragrance, forget it. This place will put you in the hospital.

So, three stars, ONLY because of the smell.

Which is sad, because, as I said, everything else was great.

The menu is not too rich. The rooms are clean. I didn't have shower gel in the room but I think it was just a coincidence 😃. They don't have toothbrushes and other things in the bathroom that you need.

Beautiful hotel with large clean rooms and an amazing view of the city. My only complaint is that upon booking I was told the room included breakfast and the following morning when attempting to get breakfast was informed it was not included.
