I booked a 1 1/2 hr combo Swedish/deep tissue with a gift certificate for my birthday. My masseuse was Kelsey. I can easily say it was the best message I've ever had. I have a pretty tense neck + shoulders, and Kelsey seemed to know exactly where all the sore spots were. Might have been drooling a bit by the end of the appointment.

Will definitely be coming back in the future 🙂

This is such a cool store with great products and lovely staff. Unfortunately the eyebrow shaping I paid 30.00 for left my eyebrows looking lopsided with one side thinned more than the other. I'm not getting an option to post a photo...but I have one
. I should have looked at the eyebrow shaping reviews as I can see this isn't their strong suit

I had one great eyebrow wax here--truly phenomenal. The woman was kind and overly attentive. It was a great experience. She made me feel and look great. I came back and had a new person. This other person was so-so. She never asked me any questions about how I wanted my eyebrows shaped and left feeling demoralized because they looked so bad and there was not a way to fix them. I think this place is okay if you are picky about who you get. There is definitely a difference in quality between estheticians. I'm probably not going to go back.

Joanna is amazing. She puts the therapist in massage therapist. Probably the best massage I've ever had. Will definitely be back. She focused on the problem area I mentioned (my neck/shoulder) just enough without neglecting or rushing through the rest of my body. Pressure level was perfect- strong enough to work on the knots without being too intense. She checked in enough to make sure I was comfortable without being too chatty.

Shakira! Shakira! Shakira! I booked a facial online blindly, no preference for who does it, as I had never had a facial at soft shell (after hearing many great things I decided to try it). I was match (like a match made in heaven) with Shakira. Not only was she SO honest and transparent with my service (I booked something she didn’t feel I needed) she was with products too. No up-sales no BS. She gave me only two products and told me to use them till the next time I see her (I was like are you sure that’s all? And she just said trust her). Less is more. I booked out 3 appts with her after that appt. Every time I have seen her she has been nothing but exceptional, transparent, honest, incredible work ethic (rare to come by now a days), so incredibly genuine. She gave me her cell if I had any question about my skin, as there were a couple things we were working on, I have texted her a few times regarding that, she not only is so responsive, she is so helpful. She has made such a difference not only in my skin, but my life. I am a FOREVER client to Shakir, whether she stays at soft shell forever or has future endeavors. I have given her card to every lady in my life to go see her because she is rare and under appreciated. Book Shakira!

I went to Soft Shell because I was fortunate enough to receive a gift certificate. That piece of parchment sat in my drawer for a long time before I was willing to experiment with the healing properties of massages.

Leading up to the fateful day, I had spent years seeking help from doctors and chiropractors to help alleviate my chronic pain. Time and time again, prescriptions were offered to me or proposed treatment bills, exceeding $5,000.00, were dangled in my face. I turned down the pills and the payments, and I decided that I would just cope. Then one day, I decided that I would use my gift certificate because I was so desperate for some relief that allowed me to handle my days better and get some sleep at night.

I was fortunate enough to be assigned to Shakira… fortunate enough to have our journeys align… eternally grateful for the opportunity to be healed by such a beautiful, compassionate woman.

Within the first few moments of meeting each other, Shakira could see by my posture and overall presence that I was in a lot of pain, and she wanted nothing more than to help me. Shakira asked me some questions and carefully guided me through the healing process; she was sincere, transparent, and communicative before, during and after treatment.

Within an hour and a half session, Shakira had me standing up straight again and I could move my head from side to side without the sharp, stabbing pain that I had been dealing with for so long. Even better, I could breathe again without it hurting my upper back when I inhaled. I was in total amazement and a bit disoriented, to be completely honest. I had forgot what it was like to feel so well. Shakira managed to erase about 10 years of chronic pain in only 90 minutes. But that is because she is a true healer…

I left the spa that day in a haze and cried out of pure joy during my commute back home. I drank plenty of water, like Shakira urged me to do, and then I went to bed that night and slept all the way through… and in the morning I still felt incredible!

Shakira and I have continued to meet for maintenance sessions, and as soon as I feel that pain creeping back, I go to Shakira and she banishes my demons.

Shakira is a gift to this world and will always have a place in my heart. I cannot recommend her enough.
