I told my wife not to book this one since it’s just a regular Sleep Inn, not suite style one. But we stay at Sleep Inns all the time, so we figured it would still be decent. Unfortunately, it wasn’t. The room felt overpriced for what it was, and it didn’t meet our expectations. The TV didn’t work, and even after letting the front desk know, they said they’d be here shortly, but no one ever showed up to help. The staff didn’t seem friendly or helpful either. Thankfully, we moved to the Comfort Inn next door the next day. That was a much better experience and definitely worth it.

We've stayed in this hotel twice before as well and have been happy every time. The hotel's well maintained and quiet despite the proximity to major highways. The room's well appointed, the beds are comfortable with nice bedding, the bathroom's well appointed as well. The wifi's fast and reliable. The window opens to let fresh air in - very important to us. The hotel's surrounded by restaurants and good fast food places including the Southern favorite - Waffle House.

I meant to leave a review earlier but just got the time. Our stay wasn’t great, we had several issues with the room, and honestly, it didn’t feel worth the price. But Selvi at the front desk was really helpful and made our stay a lot better.

The Sleep Inn in Pelham, AL is a fairly new hotel. It was all I could ask for in a moderately priced hotel. The staff was very helpful and responsive to our needs. The rooms were clean. Breakfast was good.

Positive: It's a good location for an off-the-freeway spot. At least eight dining choices are within easy walking distance, but half are across a busy car-centric street that is not conducive to pedestrians. Negative: It was visually clean, but the lobby had an overuse of Lysol covering up something smell, but it was fine in other areas. There was no soundproofing, so you could hear every footstep above you, every toilet flush, shower, and faucet running.

Could be the greatest motel ever but we'll never know because the language barrier resulted in our reservation being cancelled. When we called to verify our reservation we were told we didn't have one (we did, and I still have the entries on my bank statement to prove it). Then the person on the phone said they would help us get the reservation fixed - and then they hung up on us. We found a different place to stay.

Unfortunately, it has become to the point of the situation and matter at hand that I am having to address it through a review.

This is a very serious matter, dealing with biohazard, health and professionalism that is not being met by management ( Logan).

On the 30th, my contractor booked a room for me to have to work in Pelham on the first. After working on 1 February 2025 getting off work I am very exhausted having to avoid driving back 2 1/2 hours out of the way I decided to get a second over hotel room under my name. The time is 3:30 PM and very exhausted the young girl at the front desk who checked me in informed me that the price has doubled overnight and only have one double bedroom that they have to wait to clean 45 minutes for an insured me a clean room.so I wait in my car and take a small nap, as I awake for my small nap, which was actually 4 to 5 hours in my car, waiting for a clean and sterile room or at least supposed to be. I go up into the room and crash immediately. I didn’t even get the chance to undo the covers. I awake a few hours later and have become hungry so I fix a smoothie sit down in the office chair at the desk and look over under the AC vent to find a used condom.

Now that I am having to take the steps because management has still yet to call me and it is 3 February and I am taking every single step needed such as this review, informing a local health department, and ensuring that I will get a lawyer if this situation is not addressed very soon. I am very disappointed at the professionalism and cleanliness of this hotel.

After leaving my contact information email and phone number the night that I did not stay on the first I left to go home and drive overnight 2 1/2 hours in the middle of the night at one in the morning. I have spoke with most of the front desk, employees to relate to Miss Logan, how serious of a matter this is and unfortunately, I am starting to become very impatient after she is aware of the situation that she is not addressing.

I forgot to mention all I am wanting is a refund and that my employer is a platinum member.

This Sleep Inn location was absolutely disgusting. As soon as I entered the building, It reeked of chemicals in the air (something was obviously sprayed to cover other odors) and even had no air conditioning in the building. The lobby was dated and the the sign had obviously fallen off the wall and they chose not to fix or replace it. After quite a disaster checking in, I made it to my room only to find the door unlocked and OPEN!!! I had to walk through the room just to ensure there was no one in there hiding or something. Once inside the TINY room with the TINY bathroom (they had a tiny stand up shower), I realized that there was a dirty floor, dirty toilet, dried food on headboards, and you guessed it, bed bugs!!!! I would NEVER recommend staying here.
