This hotel was great and we had a room with a lake view and beautiful sunrise. Not sure if the rates change with the season but for a winter lake stay it was very reasonably priced for what you got in a lake view room. I didn't like the 25 bucks extra to use the kitchenette, I feel like for that price either include it or don't but maybe there's a good reason. I didn't even end up cooking. Minor less significant issues, the direct TV was doing what direct tv does and was in and out in and out. The heater was either off or on which was a little uncomfortable while trying to sleep. But as a whole the staff was great the location was great and i would definitely go back. Waking up to that sunrise was amazing.

There is no place to plug in the coffee pot but on the floor. Cord, way too short.
25 dollar charge for any dirt on towels. The pool was closed and covered in yuck water and leaves. Close to food and shopping.
The girl at check-in was cool. And the cat in the office was cute at check out.

Beautiful location right on the lake. Room was older, but clean and comfortable. My in-laws had a great room overlooking the lake, very beautiful! The pool area was small but clean so some of my family members took advantage of it. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Amazing lake side view from my room! The staff was very friendly and helpful with checking in. This place has a ton of activities, such as horseshoes, a pool, volleyball, and ping-pong. Very quiet at night. There was shampoo, but no conditioner, so make sure to bring some if you need it. The bed was firm, not very comfortable, but eventually I got to sleep. I had to pin the curtain closed so people couldn't see into my room since it had a large gap.

This place is near the lake it's literally right there in the back. We got a room with lake view. Room was clean, spacious, and the lake was right there. Only CON is the spiders on the balcony if they would just pressure wash them away it would be awesome. Bed was comfortable and the check in was easy and pleasant. They have postcards to mail in the check in/check out area and we sent one to ourselves and our nephews. They mailed them for us for free. There is so many activities to do on the lake which you can rent there. Definitely would come back!!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Skylark Shores Resort, and my experience was outstanding from start to finish. When I made my reservation, Megan answered the phone. She was extremely friendly and helpful, setting a positive tone for my stay.

Due to a late incoming flight, I was going to arrive around 1 am. I called the hotel to inform them of my late arrival, and they reassured me that it wouldn't be an issue and to just ring the bell upon arrival. True to their word, when I arrived, Ron checked me in. He was very friendly and welcoming, making the late-night check-in process smooth and stress-free.

The next day, I came back from the store and saw Ron again. He greeted me with a smile, which added a personal touch to my stay. The room I stayed in was clean and well-maintained, with a stunning view of the lake. It was peaceful and quiet, perfect for a restful stay. The housekeepers were very nice and promptly swapped my towels upon request. The property itself was well-kept, and it was clear that the staff took pride in maintaining a high standard.

During my stay, I spoke with a few other guests who shared that they have been staying at the Skylark Shores Resort every year for multiple years, which speaks volumes about the quality and consistency of this hotel.

Overall, my stay at the Skylark Shores Resort was delightful. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a friendly, well-maintained, and peaceful place to stay. I will definitely be returning in the future.
