I made an appointment with Teresa and was disappointed with both the acrylic overlay and the gel polish on my toes. The polish on my toes looked bumpy and it seemed too bulky. My nails were in so much pain with the gel overlay, when I got home I accidentally pulled the skin on my finger and it bled, because of how she glued my skin to the acrylic. I was so bummed because it was my set for my court wedding and I had to take them off and pay at another place to get them redone (Last image are the nails at a different nail salon). I will call for a refund immediately, I was expecting a better service because of the price.

Terrible Experience at Skokie Nails & Spa

Yesterday I went to Skokie Nails & Spa and had an extremely disappointing experience. The quality of the manicure was unacceptable. As you can see in the attached photos, the nails are unevenly shaped, the polish is poorly applied, and there are visible gaps and bubbles.
The owner doesn’t know how to do nails at all!! She does not pay attention to detail, resulting in a sloppy and unprofessional finish.

Overall, I am highly dissatisfied with the service I received and would not recommend Skokie Nails & Spa to anyone looking for a quality manicure.

I have been seeing Teresa for the past few months and she is so clean and so gentle. I have sensitive skin and cuticles and she has never cut me but my cuticles are perfectly cut. My pedicures always release some pain around my nails too.
I get an acrylic overlay on my natural nail and gel color on top. It easily lasts me 3 week with zero chips.
The massage chairs are awesome and they always play K dramas on TV that I get sucked into while I’m relaxing.

Looked this spot up on Google and decided to try them out. I'm so glad I did. Such a cute spot! I loved the chandeliers! Their spa chairs are really really relaxing. I got a pedicure. My first pedi for the Spring season. She actually had to repair two cracked nails. My feet are smooth, soft, and beautifully polished! Thank you! I'll be back!

My friend and I were walk-ins and they were very accommodating! They did not rush us or get annoyed when my friend asked for extensions last minute. Overall, good vibes at the place and great service!

This is my ultimate favorite salon, they do such a great job I always get a gel manicure and it lasts forever. I always have them take it off it never chips off to where it's annoying and I peel it off. 10/10 would recommend have been going for 4 years
