Disappointing Experience – Be Cautious

The salon is elegant and well-located, and the receptionist was very polite and welcoming.
The esthetician appeared professional and confidently stated that a traditional medical degree isn’t required for Botox injections. While that raised concerns for me, I decided to proceed since it’s difficult for me to schedule appointments within my work routine.

The procedure started well—one side of my face was done correctly. However, on the right side, the esthetician made mistakes twice in a row, causing immediate bruising. I assume this happened because she was rushing and working from an uncomfortable position. She apologized and mentioned that “it happens,” which didn’t feel reassuring. She did check in via text that night, but after six days, I still need makeup to cover the bruises, and no one from the salon has followed up further.

Personally, I believe that a strong foundation in classical medical studies, particularly in anatomy and dermatology, is essential for anyone performing aesthetic procedures. This experience only reinforced my opinion. I advise others to verify credentials carefully and ensure the provider takes their time. Given the nature of this treatment, I expected a higher level of professionalism and attention to detail.
