Magnificent Place to Stay. A Very Nice, and Warm Couple Owns, and Runs the Inn. I Would Say It is a Historical Victorian Disney Atmosphere All Wrapped into One. The Secret Room Was a Bonus. The Landing on The Staircase Makes You Feel Very Cozy. Woodwork Throughout the Inn is Astonishing to Witness. I Stated I Didn't Want to Gawk at The Interior too Much, or I Would not Want to Leave This Wonderful Place. Very Clean, and Accommodating. Water, soft drinks, ice, coffee, towels, and of Course Hospitality Are Provided. Would Love to Stay There Again.

details you normally hope to find in a B&B. Here is what really makes this place special for me: an amazing gluten free breakfast. When I travel, it can be very challenging to get a good gluten free meal, let alone a meal that I greatly enjoy. These guys completely spoiled me with an amazing gluten free breakfasts all three days during our last visit (2023). Unfortunately, they are currently re-doing their kitchen (May ‘24). But it’s still a charming place to stay. Looking forward to their kitchen renovations being complete later this year for more amazing breakfasts! (Examples: poached pears, amazing French toast, breakfast skillet, pancakes to name a few)

This is a wonderful Historic Inn that was beautifully decorated; the holiday decorations were over the top. Each room even had their own decorated Christmas tree! Our room (Elizabeth) was spacious and very clean. I especially liked the bed; it was so comfortable. Each morning we were given a gourmet quality breakfast that consisted of 3 courses! The Inn Keepers/Owners (Bella & Bill) were very attentive and helped provide activity ideas when the ones we had planned were cancelled. I would definitely recommend this Inn and would stay there again.

I stayed here recently during a brief overnight trip to explore the area and hike Currahee. I missed the signs for the parking lot when I first showed up (it was dark outside), but I took it as a good excuse to drive around and check the building out from different angles. What a beauty! The architecture is really fun, and the decorations inside were a delight. I was greeted by a friendly face who showed me around the house, told me its history, and made me feel welcome.

The room I stayed in - the Bethany Room - was spacious, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The bed felt like sleeping on a cloud, and there were even homemade cookies on the nightstand! The owners thoughtfully gathered menus from some of the local spots, and had a few recommendations of their own. It's clear that they love this town and its history.

Cannot recommend this place enough. Thanks again for a lovely stay!

This place was incredible! |First off, the Halloween décor was A++++. Just absolutely perfect accent to a historic home. Did not detract because the place is gorgeous. |The bathroom hidden behind the bookcase is neat and I now wish I had one at home. |The convenience bars upstairs and down were supremely-well stocked and just great. Loved the options as well as the convenience. |There are board games if you have time. We ended up wandering around the town until we were too tired, but it looks like great fun if you're there longer. |The hosts are very knowledgeable and friendly. They are also great cooks. (I'm not a "breakfast person" and generally eat the weirdest assortment of stuff in the morning, but the breakfast here was so yummy and filling I didn't need lunch.) Dining in the little nook in the morning also felt so fancy. I was seriously underdressed in my travel clothes. |I'm a sound sleeper and the husband is used to ambient noise, so the train didn't bother us, but the hosts have thoughtfully included earplugs and eye masks for anyone who can't sleep through anything. |Great stay. Hope to visit again.

What a terrific experience to stay at the Simmons-Bond B&B in downtown Toccoa, Georgia!||The Simmons-Bond B&B, owned by innkeepers Bill and Bella, was a perfect choice for us to stay for our short, but interesting visit, while seeing the historic sites that make Toccoa a town to remember! ||We arrived from PA by Amtrak at 6:30AM and were met by Bill, who graciously toured us around town, and went above and beyond to help us get a rental car. You cannot ask for a better experience, a better innkeeper, or a better more welcoming place to stay.||After breakfast, we headed to Camp Toccoa, an impressive site known for training paratroopers. After touring Camp Toccoa we headed up Currahee to stand on the rock outcropping that overlooks the entire valley. We had lunch at Linda’s Place at the Rebel, shopped at Cornerstone Antiques & Mountain Cove Pottery, went to the Toccoa Military Museum at the train station and visited Currahee Vineyard and Winery. We concluded the day at the historic Traveler’s Rest site, then Toccoa Falls at the college, Broken Bridge park and at St. Mary’s Church. What an impressive town Toccoa is to visit.||We cannot thank Bill and Bella enough for providing us with a perfect place to stay, for their recommendations on places to visit and for their willingness to ensure two strangers had a great stay.
