I arrived around 5:30 PM to avoid any wait, but parking was still challenging, likely due to the holiday season. I ordered the chicken wing dry pot,, scallion pancake, pickled cabbage fish noodle soup, lamb skewers, and pork and chive dumplings.

Lamb Skewers: These came out first, similar to my previous visit. Though small, they were juicy with a balanced fat-to-meat ratio. The seasoning leaned heavily on cumin with a touch of sweetness, making them enjoyable.

Scallion Pancake: This was disappointing. It tasted like a pre-packaged version you’d find at an Asian grocery store, thin, not fluffy, and lacking flavor.

Pickled Cabbage Fish Noodle Soup: While the fish was fresh and thinly sliced, the broth lacked the characteristic sourness you'd expect and leaned spicy instead. The noodles were also too thick for this type of soup. It wasn’t bad but didn’t align with traditional flavors.

Pork and Chive Dumplings: These were solid. The wrapper was thin, and the filling was juicy. The pork was heavily seasoned with soy sauce, so no additional dipping sauce was necessary.

Chicken Wing Dry Pot: This had a creeping spiciness that lingered, which I liked. The chicken wings and thighs were juicy and tender. However, the vegetables absorbed very little flavor because the sauce was overly thick and rich, masking the taste of the other ingredients. The flavor profile was an interesting mix of sweetness, cumin, and a hint of instant noodle seasoning.

Overall Experience:
This visit didn’t meet the expectations set by my earlier experience closer to their opening. Additionally, I noticed a discrepancy: Yelp advertised a 15% discount, but the staff mentioned they weren’t offering it and were aware of the outdated page.

Figured I'd give this place a try. This was a good experience trying out dry pot! I tried out the spicy wonton, chicken skewers & the dry pot. Really appreciated the spicy wonton, chicken skewers since the spice kicked in easily. Dry pot was an amazing experience, trying out different ingredients with its sauce. Reminded me of Filipino food things 🙂 Will come back to try out the spicy dry pot next time!

Beef noodle soup was great! Beef skewers a bit too small compared to the pics on the menu but, they’re tasty! The Walovi tea is way too sweet!!

The service here is amazing!! Everyone is so kind & welcoming. They thoroughly explained their menu & made sure the tables were very tidy. This place should not be mistaken for a hot pot restaurant, they actually have the meal cooked for you and when it comes to your table, they add the sauce & simmer it for a few minutes. The meal did take some time to prep though & it's very costly but delicious! The pot itself can feed up to three people. We had lamb skewers, lobster seafood option, 2 sides & a beer and it totaled to $135 (including 20% tip).

Unlike other folks who have tried the S. CA locations, we were not familiar with the simmer pots/dishes. So, we decided to try dumplings and other items that we have had in other places locally. I have posted my receipt to show all we ordered, the price, and that they didn't automatically charge a tip/gratuity, as some reviews I've read made it sound like this was happening to parties of all sizes We were a party of 4. Food quality and taste were excellent and everything was freshly made and the prices were excellent for the quality. We enjoyed the pacing of the food we ordered and we had a great time enjoyjng the food and not feeling rushed. The atmosphere is comfortable and service was attentive and polite. The resto was clean and everyone wore masks and gloves. Overall, it was a great experience and we would go back to perhaps have more of what we had and try a simmer pot.

I heard about this place from word of mouth and damn, I am so glad I came to give it a try. The beef rib dry pot was definitely the star of the show. Not too oily and the right amount of spice. I also ordered the dumplings and berkshire pork XLB as I saw an employee wrapping them fresh in the front of the restaurant. They were incredibly juicy and flavorful. And of course, the service was amazing! Servers often came to check on us and loved to hear our feedback. Can't wait to eat here again❤️

The dry hotpot is very good with spicy sauce on it. One pot can feed at least 2 people and the atmosphere there is enjoyable. I would like to try others on the menu next time.

Impressively good spot. The move here is to get the dan dan noodles and mix in a few different types of skewer meats. Quality food, for appropriate pricing
