They have myself and my family locked into fees FOR LIFE after lying to our faces and making all kinds of promises. The sales rep who pitched to us was even fired for drug use(I’ll assume that’s why he was promising all these things), and the company still will not let us out of the timeshare. If we ever find ourselves not able to pay, they will report it to our credit.

This place is a scam. Please DON’T buy a timeshare here.

It is a nice weekend getaway for people living in the Chicagoland area with kids 12 and under. Activities center is perfect for young families. Lazy laid back schedule. Good for relaxing and unwinding. We took our kids here for many years as they grew up. Our family is about to outgrow this place, but it's nice to stay and play board games or cards to reconnect. There is an indoor pool and a small but nice indoor waterpark on the grounds. This is a Holiday Inn Club ownership property with fully furnished villas with fully equipped kitchens. Not many places to eat or shop in the immediate vicinity, so bring food to prepare.

Wish I could give (ZERO STARS)! Not a good experience and our family, will not be coming back! Celebrated a 5 year olds birthday and I still have a itchy and grotesque feeling a week out! Couches were BEYOND NASTY! We had to use the extra linen to cover it up. We were upgraded from the older properties for embedded smoke, outdated furniture, and were placed in the (so called Presidential suites). They were even worse! Back to couches, outdated, stained, filthy, and they had to be covered with sheets, yet again. Bugs, bugs, and more bugs. Good thing I had my bleach spray for SO many reasons.

We were looking for one of the kids balls under the couch and unearthed pants, shorts, and shoes left from previous guests. Makes me question, what does the cleaning staff really do when working? This place has really went down! We use to come over a decade back and it was scenic, comfortable and just refreshing! Since (IHG ~ Holiday Inn) has taken over, this place has really became a meager (1 star MOTEL!!!).

I purposely stayed up to 4:00am trying my best to await our 10am check out time. If it were not for the 5 year olds party, I would have checked out that night! The water park passes DO NOT come with room, another blunder which upon initially booking we were told they did with reservations. Also that water park fee, is daily no matter how many days you stay!!! Upon checkout, my husband complained about the filth and miscommunications and they awarded him 15,000 points which wont be utilized because we (will not) be back to anything IHG related. All they kept saying is that I don't know how they could tell you that the waterpark was included, not really acknowledging the filth! Beyond dissatisfied! Word to the wise, UPGRADE your properties, debug, rehire worthy staff and CLEAN them!

Various activities available for the whole family. My grandson enjoyed the indoor pool and miniature golf course. He also liked the large size chess set, he is very good at eight years old.

We enjoy coming out here for long weekends away from the city. They have plenty of things for families to do (mini golf, fishing, basketball, tennis, full golf course, camping, grilling, horseback riding) and they have an indoor and an outdoor swimming pool and a waterpark on property. It's a nice little retreat a few hours from Chicago.

Attended one of their presentations and it was the biggest mistake I’ve ever made. Super slimy sales tactics. They kept us much, MUCH longer than the stated presentation time. Recommend staying as far away from these people as possible.
