Always our go to when visiting family because of how reliable, clean and kind the staff always is. It's heart warming that they remember you and always want to provide the best services. |Pool is clean and nice place to cool off on a warm day. Rooms are always tidy and smell fresh ! The staff is amazing and always so accommodating and friendly !Location you can't beat.||I also want to give a shout out for Miguel, he has always been such a great front desk help and has now been promoted and it's well deserved. He wants to make sure your stay is always top notch and I appreciate that! ||Also over at Marco Polo thank you to the great staff Jeffery, Alastair, Savannah and Neil they will all make sure you're taken care of and enjoy your Marco Polo experience whether you're seated at table with table service or having drinks and snacks ordering at the bar they all make sure you're taken care of even during busy times! |Food and beverages delicious, can't recommend the costal spritz enough!

Absolutely horrible honestly. 600 dollar room for one night to be so so disappointed.

My sister was in town and I wanted to get her a place that was special, and considering the price, you would expect the experience here to be amazing. Our experience was baffling.

People were in our room when we walked in and that was unsettling, then when we moved rooms the ac wasn’t working for a while and when we got back from the pool it was sweltering in our room. Best they did about that nausea inducing situation was a $60 mini bar credit and a couple drinks? Sorry, I’m dying of heat, alcohol isn’t going to help.

Not to mention, the pool was so crowded with Day Passers we didn’t even get seats, you’d think they would be a little more strict about enforcing space for actual paying hotel guests to have a space.

People had outside food at the pool while it was extremely crowded, which is apart of a restaurant. Even though we spent hundreds of dollars at the restaurant the day before, the next morning we were kicked out of the **empty** pool while eating our breakfast because it wasn’t the restaurants’ food.

Being told to eat in our room that has literally no table or chairs to do so felt like another sick joke.

Then as a lovely little top off, the maid knocked on our door abruptly and said “check out”. We weren’t even at our check out time yet. So hospitable.

Upon check out, the woman promised me that the mini bar credit would be applied, and when I finally got emailed my recent 7 hours later at 11pm, it of course wasn’t taken off. When I brought this to their attention, they took off the $60 and said they would also take off the “resort fee” which sounded made up since it was nowhere on the receipt and the discount remained only at $60.

Such a disappointing experience for my sister and I, and really sad since she never comes to LA. Book elsewhere.

Great overall, with some small hotel issues - but design and location are 10/10. Sexy hotel with cool crowd and great F&B. Wish there was even a tiny gym. Wish the rooms had a work space for a person with laptop. If you go in with a grain of salt, you will be wowed - the location is unbeatable.

I decided on the Silverlake Pool & Inn as the place I wanted to propose at for numerous factors (unbeatable ambiance, views, excellent restaurant/bar and food, exceptional staff, location and more) and couldn't be happier with the outcome. ||Words will absolutely not do justice as everything was coordinated thoughtfully, attention to detail was well above and beyond, and the staff might as well have been our closest friends as they were genuinely kind, caring and helpful.||I shopped around many of the best hotels in LA and among several outstanding options, this place still stood out. General Manager Gilbert was instrumental and incredibly supportive throughout the experience and planning process as well as Yun, America, Miguel and the whole staff. ||We are happy this is now our favorite place in LA and one of our favorite places we've stayed at ever and look forward to making this a mainstay for special occasions, business and personal plans!

This hotel is perfectly situated in Silver Lake--close to shops, restaurants. The area is walkable and also easy to access by car. The property is tranquil and very beautiful. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed to make my stay comfortable--including in room espresso machine. The on-site restaurant was delicious with ample seating. Griffith Park and Observatory are just to the north and only a 15 minute drive. There is also a bus that can take you there.

Pros: The room was clean and basically comfortable. The bed was nice.|Cons: For a hotel at this price point, the whole experience just felt mediocre to poor.||Specific issues. None of these are obvious dealbreaker, it's just not what I want at this price point:|- The hotel had no fitness center and the pool was the size of a postage stamp. This was surprising in a hotel with "pool" in the name, although to be fair I could've figured this out if I'd looked at pictures. |- The interior design of the hotel felt spartan to the point where it came off as institutional. Dark hallways, dull carpet, nothing adorning the walls. It didn't feel hip, it just felt cheap.|- Room design was weird. Bathroom had no sink, the one sink in the room was all the way "around the corner" from the bathroom, a surprisingly long walk.|- No hand soap in the room. I had to go down to the desk to ask for it.|- No way to watch movies on the hotel TV. The remote had buttons for Netflix / Hulu / Amazon, but I had to go down to the desk to learn that "those don't work right now."|- Valet parking service was bad. They had a number you could text to get your car, but our text to that number was acknowledged and then totally ignored. We asked for the car in five minutes, then stood outside for ten minutes right next to the valets holding our ticket looking like chumps before we finally asked if our car was coming and they knew nothing about it and went to get it.|- I'm pretty sure they overcharged me a bunch on minibar items, although since they didn't itemize on the bill, it's hard to tell, and the number isn't enough to get me to call customer service.||At 1/3 the price this would've been fine, but at this price, I'm certainly not going back.

A beautiful inn that is within walking distance of cute boutiques, a nice grocery store and restaurants. And, there are great places a short driving distance away: Dada Echo Park (bar & grill), Los Rodeos (super cute vintage clothing store) & Le Boudoir Los Angeles (a gorgeous lingerie shop owned by a French girl).

One tip if you are sound-sensitive is to ask not to stay on the side facing Santa Monica Blvd. And to be on the top level. We had an elephant in heels staying above us who was walking around at all hours. The staff here kindly moved us.

It would be nice if they had hooks in the bathroom for cosmetic bags. And if the bathroom light was less bright and didn’t turn on with every movement in the bedroom.

One cool thing is that there are plants in the rooms. They are well taken care of and it brings a feeling of being at home.
