I really enjoyed it here, great setup with a variety of different temperatures. The location is really beautiful as well. My only complaint is that the sauna was not hot at all, maybe around 120 degrees when I was there and I wasn't expecting to drive and walk to get to the hot springs. Thought they would all be at the main visitors check-in area. Not really that big of a deal but just wasn't expecting it. If you do come here keep in mind that you'll have to walk about a quarter mile to get to the hot springs and sometimes the road you walk down could be muddy or snowy.

It's cool that they had a little common area with the kitchen to cook food in and lots of space to hang out. I would definitely come back earlier and maybe spend a whole day there. I would highly recommend and plan on coming back

This place is pure magic, much more naturey and romantic than Harbin. Cute lodge and fireplace. I do wish there was something between the super hot dome pool and the 100 degree large and meditation pools. There's nothing in the 102 range where you can really relax for a while.

A healing hippie place. Most naked. The sulpher/ peroxide water, will ruin a suit. The rooms are tiny, and no central air, it's European style bath down the hall. Service like security is ever present and invisible. Don't even think of ...whatever, be respectful. You will find yourself out, and banned. They got their own tow truck.

The main hot springs are a short walk from the lodge. The facilities at the main hot springs include showers, drinking fountains, and restrooms. There are two bathing areas: a large warm pool (a bit larger than a residential swimming pool), and a smaller hot pool (the size of a larger hot tub – meant to hold 8 people). Adjacent to the hot pool are two cold plunges (each the size of a bathtub). Past the warm pool is a sauna.

The water and sauna felt incredible. They were great places to stretch out and relax. These facilities are clothing-optional, so do not visit if you are uncomfortable with nudity.

I was able to book appointments for Watsu with Derek and a massage with Malaina. They were both phenomenal.

The lounge itself is cozy and inviting with lots of available seating and a fireplace.

The onsite restaurant was offering delicious ramen when I visited. The chef was cheerful and helpful.

I got one of the two small rooms. It was indeed very small, a twin bed and no room for more than one person. But I never felt that it was too small. The common lounge area and hot springs were better places to spend time. As a place to sleep, the small room was sufficient. The lodge offers several more large rooms as well, but I did not stay in any of those.

I had a wonderful time and I plan on coming back.

This place is a treasure, and I can’t believe I have never left a review! I’ve been coming here since I was 14 (I’m 28 now!) and this remains one of my favorite places on earth for deep rejuvenation, healing with water, and self-care.
For me nudity is not sexual or weird, if it is to you, you’ll probably be a little uncomfortable. I was the first time I came when I was young, but now it is just humans taking care of themselves in a shared sanctuary.

The lodge is amazing, cozy, a beautiful space to share a meal with friends. They have a full kitchen so bring food to cook, or enjoy some delicious food in their cafe, always delicious and a treat.

The temple pool with the hot and cold plunge is a serious game changer. You will be a different person after a few rounds between the two, a good sauna, some Sierra Valley stars and sky, getting hydrated.

Come to rest. Come to be with the elements. Come to be simple. It has its charm and quirk, but that’s the magic of it.

We went for a day trip I love the location which gorgeous views, staff were really nice , bathroom and showers were nice and clean however we did not like the fact that the dome and meditation pools you have to be completely silent and the big pool states “if you are louder then the wind than your too loud “ we did not enjoy having to be silent during the whole stay it was very awkward and they should tell you before you BOOK your trip!!! It was a nice experience but will not be returning unfortunately

I came for a day pass and found the facilities and pools to be clean and pleasant. The hot pool had a slight sulfur smell, but not bad in comparison to other hot springs...and that's just what you expect at hot springs. The staff was friendly and helpful and I had an excellent massage, as well. The only improvement I would suggest would be to have changing rooms as optional for guest privacy. Right now it's just one large changing area and that can be uncomfortable for some folks.

This place is such a nice place to reset your energy! The sauna and Buddha hot pool were my favorite. This place is in the middle of nowhere and very peaceful. The Philosophy Cafe is wonderful. The Chef/Cook is great and made a mean “Okie Dokie Gnocchi” soup. A huge bowl for only $6.50. I’ll definitely be back to this place!
