I have always enjoyed eating at the shrimp basket in Pensacola, but this one was definitely different. We decided to sit on the patio even though it was 90 degrees outside. Then a couple with a dog pulled up and asked to be seated out on the patio and without even asking us was it okay the let the dog sit outside with the owners. That really upset me for the lack of communication and concern about how we felt about dining with a dog nearby. At that point we decided to leave without finishing our meals because we were disgusted. I’m a person who doesn’t care for dogs especially when I am dining at a restaurant. I will never return to this place.

My experience here was great! Gabbi was the most phenomenal server- her personality and service skills were top notch. My host, Aubrey was so great too. The other 2 servers, Shay and Kirsten also welcomed me in. I wish I could give 20 stars. I will be back. I made a happy plate it was so good.

Shrimp basket has been a favorite of mine for about 15 years. This is a great location near I-65 exit. Very friendly staff and server was attentive to assigned tables. Food was fantastic! I had the flounder with fried okra. I’ve tasted most of the items on the menu, but this is a new favorite! If you’re gonna get anything grilled, I highly recommend you get it blackened. The shrimp and grits maybe unmatched. Yummmmmm. Popcorn shrimp is a must have, especially when it’s AYCE.

I’m a local and come here often, my favorite is the fried cat fish with a side salad. I always ask for Jordan. She is one of the most attentive servers I’ve had. So sweet and helpful with food suggestions!

First time to this location and like all the others the shrimp were perfect. We will likely make this a regular stop when driving through town. It was definitely worth the time to enjoy our meal.

Kirsten E was our server; she was great! very friendly and attentive ..the food was delicious the portions were large, the restaurant was clean and cool. Overall we had a very good dining experience and will be back in the future

They got slammed as soon as we walked in. The waitresses and cooks handled it great! Our waitress was as quick as she could be with getting our drinks and order out under the circumstances. We were just passing through to Texas but would stop again.
