Shoshone Lodge & Ranch was an incredible vacation for our extended family trip! This was our first time staying at a guest ranch, and it far exceeded our expectations. Mike and Betsy and their entire staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and accommodating. We were traveling with our extended family of 10, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure that the needs of all of our family members were met - ranging from ages 3-75! They took great care of my 3yo daughter when she was too small to participate in some activities, and provided alternate options for my parents if they weren't up for a long trail ride, etc. The ranch property is beautiful and there was something for everyone. None of us had much experience horseback riding, and they got us comfortable on the horses right away making for an incredible week of trail rides - especially for our 8 year old kids who had never been on a horse before. All of the meals were delicious and fresh, and the kitchen staff accommodated even our pickiest eaters. The Yellowstone tours were incredible, the whitewater rafting excursion was an exciting addition, and the dinner show / rodeo were a very unique experience! We also loved spending time just hanging out at the ranch, playing in the river and the creek, doing archery, sitting by the campfire, and hanging out with all of the animals who my kids are still asking for by name. It was a magical experience to watch our young kids connect with nature and each other and have a quality break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life at home on the east coast. Could not recommend Shoshone enough, we hope to return one day!

Everything about our five days at the ranch was exceptional! The cabin, cozy and accommodating. The food was fantastic and there was plenty of it! All homemade! Our days were packed with horse back riding, hot meals on the trail rides, rafting, a tour to Yellowstone. There was the cowboy show at the dinner theater and the rodeo. Did I mention square dancing? The folks who served us did so with helpfulness and smiles...genuine people! I could not have asked for more. Betsy and Mike and kids are superb. I'm so glad we had this experience.

Our time at Shoshone Lodge & Guest Ranch exceeded our expectations. We had a wonderful time and could not have picked a more fun place to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary! The entire staff were some of the nicest people we have ever met and all of them were dedicated to making sure each guest's experience was a good one. We would recommend this place to anyone looking to experience beautiful countryside, horses, rafting, fishing, hiking and some of the best food you can imagine. The fact that everything is inclusive in their price makes it a great bargain for families and everything they do is top notch and they truly focus on the guest, their needs and making sure everyone is having a good time. This is one of only two vacation experiences we would ever repeat! We loved everything about our time at the lodge. The tours to Yellowstone were excellent and the staff was very knowledgeable tour guides. We recommend Shoshone Lodge and Guest Ranch without any hesitation.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at the Shoshone Guest Lodge. Mike, Betsy, their kids and staff treated us like family from the moment they picked us up and then dropped us back at the airport. Our cabin was cozy and very comfortable. The meals at the lodge were hearty and delicious. A couple of tasty meals were served over a campfire on the trail and were complimented by the beautiful scenery. Our days had a variety of activities to choose from and we enjoyed horseback riding, rafting, visiting Yellowstone, attending the Cody Rodeo, and other wonderful experiences. To say the least, we were never bored! We have recommended this trip to our family and friends and we would love to return one day with our grandchildren.

We loved the Shoshone Lodge and Ranch! My mother and I did a girls trip, and as people who both have a lot of riding experience, we loved it and were not bored at all. The other activities going on throughout the week besides riding were very well planned and enjoyable. The food is outstanding, you definitely might gain a few pounds, and the staff are attentive and friendly. They will do what it takes to make sure you have a good time.

My husband and I chose Shoshone lodge for our 25th anniversary. From the moment we were picked up to travel to the lodge for our week-long adventure, the service and staff were outstanding.

The variety of activities never left us without something fun to do. Horseback riding, tours of Yellowstone, white water rafting, shows and even square dancing were enjoyed. Everything was tailored to our needs by the owners. My husband even had a lesson on how to saddle his horse.

The atmosphere was that of "family" and included the staff and other guests - even the owner's dogs! Miss you Gage!
The cabins are amazing. Concise, clean and beautiful. The food was outstanding. Great variety and flavors. We partook in bar beverages which were better than any we have ever had.

Shoshone Lodge is top notch. We were very sad to leave and plan on visiting again as soon as we can.

We had the most memorable vacation at Shoshone. Our 3 children made endless memories and the staff was so kind towards them. It actually felt like being with extended family while we were there. Everyone was so warm and made us feel so welcome. The horseback riding was absolutely magical. The food was homemade and delicious!!! If you’re looking for a family vacation I would highly recommend this ranch. They truly care about your experience. We will definitely be returning! Thank you again Shoshone!

I loved it so much, I came back for a second year in a row! Mike, Betsy & all the staff at Shoshone do a wonderful job making you feel like family. Location is great with easy access to Yellowstone. There is a huge variety of things to do and if something doesn't suit you, just ask and they are quick to set up exactly what you are looking for. Want to go fishing? Done. Want a full day ride into the backcountry? Done. And the food - so much and so delicious. You certainly won't go hungry. This place is truly a home away from home.
