The shuttle from the lodge drops off / picks up at 3 different spots in Seward. Mike, Kathleen and Martha were the drivers and were all wonderful.||There was couple good places on site for eat and drink : Ressurection Roadhouse, Puffin Dive and the breakfast buffet. The buffet was around $25 and had amazing seasoned potatoes. ||My wife really enjoyed her Exit Glacier mojito and I loved my old fashioned and smoke and cherries drinks.||Grounds were nice but do remember the rooms being a little too warm when we first got there. This overall was one of the better places we stayed at for our interior Alaska trip. I would stay here again.

Choices in Seward are limited. Windsong was a hidden gem! Ate dinner on property at the Resurrection Roadhouse. Good food and great service. Enjoyed the fireplace after and had some great conversation with other guests and front guest staff!

Friendly check in and given room 411 in Monkshood on the second floor. Lovely big room with two queen beds, small dining table, fridge. Small bathroom with shower over the bath. Heating was easy and worked. Plenty of plug sockets; WiFi ok, not great. Lovely private balcony at the back overlooking the woods, which was covered so stayed dry.

This is a lovely property, with views of snow covered mountains and an onsite restaurant. Everyone working here is helpful and friendly.

Attractive place about ten minutes from downtown Seward. The rooms are in small buildings around the property. Our room was nicely furnished and comfortable. The on-site restaurant is really good. If you have time, you can go for a short walk nearby. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Stayed a few nights and it was great. The rooms were clean and spacious. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Not very far from downtown Seward. Staying here really felt secluded and as if you were in the wilderness. Having the back porch was a huge plus. Would stay again!

I recently stayed at Seward Windsong Lodge and was quite surprised by the relatively low quality compared to the high price of $400 per night. While the reception staff was nice, they weren't exceptional. The lodge appears clean enough but feels dated.

Several issues stood out during my stay. The showers had plastic inserts, which seemed out of place for a lodge charging such high rates. The toiletries provided were minimal and of low quality. Additionally, the front desk often didn't answer the phone, and I couldn't locate the ice machine. The walls and ceiling were so thin that all I could hear was noise from the adjoining rooms.

My view of the hotel wasn't improved when my water supply completely shut off mid-shower. This left me more time in the bathroom to notice the low-end fixtures and amenities.

Overall, the lodge was good enough for a place to stay, but definitely not worth the price. I expected more for the amount I paid and wouldn't choose to stay here again unless there were significant improvements.
