This is a very nice park! The rates are great! The owners, staff and other campers have been very nice! The owners and staff are always out doing something to keep the place looking good! They also keep you posted on things that are going on in the park. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely campground in a great location. The swimming pool was a nice treat after a long drive, and the Great River bike trail runs right alongside the property. Pet friendly, very clean and well organized.

I want to share we had a mostly pleasant stay. The people here are friendly in spite of it being almost exclusively seasonal sites. The pool was decent, he grounds were well maintained and they recently installed hood Wi-Fi.

The site number 48 we were assigned is unreasonably small. The site sizes vary a bit here, however we provided our RV size 33’ 5th wheel in advance and the site was tight. I had to make a few attempts to maneuver in this pull through site. The length is normal, however the width was less than 15’ from our neighbor’s RV on the camp side and I was literally inches from the power pedestal on the other side. The enjoyment side is far too small and not a value at $70 a night.

The site is small enough they had placed the fire ring next to the road on the backside of the camper. It would seem a different price for this site would have been appropriate.

When I sent these comments by email the owner stopped by. Although I appreciated a response it became an explanation of how others are very happy with the site and they will be making changes. Unfortunately given the opportunity for recovery I was being gently told I was wrong. I expressed again it was not OK for me and she was not offering an apology nor any compensation. Even a few bucks back would have made me happy. I think because I was not angry she thought it all went well because she said I hope we see you again. Sorry, you won’t.

If you’re looking for a great campground do some fishing at during your stay this is the place to go! The seasonal people are super nice and very helpful. The fishing was absolutely awesome. We were told they stock the pond. In a short weekend we caught a few large mouth bass, a catfish, crappie and some sunfish. We had an amazing time and definitely recommend checking this campground out.

Best campground near Savanna, Illinois. Beautiful, clean and such friendly people. We have stayed there many times and always enjoyed are stay. Natasha keep up the amazing job you and your staff does. Hope to see you again, soon.

It is nice and clean with paved main roads, amenities such as a pool, pond and a clubhouse. More like a trailer park, this isn't really a campground. There are some transient sites available, but most are clearly seasonal sites, many with sheds, decks and screen rooms. The workers we had contact with were friendly, helpful and pleasant. The common restrooms are very limited, with only one each for men and women. The women's restroom had one toilet and two showers, with only one working. There are restrooms in the clubhouse, but the clubhouse was kept mostly locked. The limited-sized restrooms were disappointing for the price, especially since many transient sites lack sewer hookups.

We just spent 3 nights in a cabin celebrating our Anniversary and the place is great for a quick getaway. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Was supplied with firewood for our first night campfire. The owner Natasha is very nice. The pool area was clean, water was crystal clear and plenty of patio area for families to relax. The fishing pond was well stocked as I broke a line trying to reel in a catfish. The grounds are very well maintained. The seasonal campers were nice folks always waved as they drove by. Nice little playground for those who have kids or grandkids. For those adults who like adult gaming machines there is a gaming room and they serve adult beverages just a little perk. There are 11 overnight RV sites 9 back in sites and 2 pull thoughs. Four of RV sites are pond side great for those fisherman. There are only 2 pull through sites best for bigger rigs. Little motel on grounds with a community firepit. Overall this is a fantastic little campground resort and we will definitely be back.
