The Sesnon House is a great wedding venue. Highly recommend. The venue is part of the culinary school. Chef Andrea, who is a professor of the culinary school, also offers a lot of options to customize the menu. For example, we wanted to incorporate chestnuts and dates into our menu. We had this Korean traditional ceremony where our parents gave us blessings with chestnuts and dates. Chef Andrea customized hors d'oeuvre to be roasted chestnut crostini. We also had desserts with them - chocolate chestnut cakes & a family-recipe date bar. It was awesome. Many people complimented our food, and it made me very happy because food is such an important factor in our lives (I am Korean and we live in NYC - food is all we care about haha). Students of culinary school prepared and served our food - it was such an honor to have those enthusiasm and joy on our big day.

The venue comes with the day of coordinator - Chrissy. I can't say enough about her. She is the best. After the first meeting with her, I told my husband "I think we're in good hands". She is a seasoned professional who knows the ins-and-outs of the wedding.

In general, it is a great venue with a great price & great staff. Highly recommend.

The Sesnon House is the perfect wedding venue! Our wedding was so beautiful and beyond our expectations. The staff are such warm and wonderful people. The venue comes with a wedding planner who knows the ins and outs so well. The culinary school with chef Jeremy provided great service and delicious food. We truly feel this venue was everything we ever wanted and it is very affordable especially when compared to other venues in the area. 10/10 recommend this for your wedding or event. They easily accommodated our party of 80 and had plenty of space for more.

This elegant old mansion is a beautiful, historic setting on the Cabrillo College campus in Aptos. The staff members are all in the culinary program, and they are quite impressive servers and cooks. They're clearly getting top-notch culinary/restaurant training. The menu changes from day to day, and the food is always well prepared and very nicely presented. This is a great place for a special lunch.

The duck l'orange was really good! Lots of different flavors with every bite. Also liked the stuffed mushrooms and banana fosters was awesome too

Sesnon House is an amazing wedding venue. It's the perfect balance of a beautiful venue and amazing food at a great price. The students who do the catering are fabulous - we keep getting compliments about how incredible the food was. The coordinator, Kristen, is very responsive and organized, and she worked very hard to keep our wedding on-track and flowing. Highly recommend Sesnon House for your wedding.

The staff was professional and good making sure everyone was passed the appetizers. And the appetizers were good : little stuffed perfectly cooked
potatoes, cornbread with a fruit jam on top, stuffed mushrooms, onion tart and really good bread pudding! A beautiful house with lovely grounds.

Historic venue in Santa Cruz. Well suited for events of up to 150 people. The lawn area behind the house as well as the historic interior rooms are well kept. And the catering and staff are extremely talented.

Best place to have lunch or dinner. Restaurant's menu is prepared by the students in the Culinary program. You would never know it, it is so delicious.
Call ahead because of Covid restrictions.
