The Arizona Grand was absolutely beautiful. It's definitely a little bit dated, but we got such a steal on a summer deal that I can't even complain. My husband and I took two nights there on a staycation. When we first walked into the room, it felt so breezy and light that I almost didn't want to leave the room.

The bed was a little firmer than I prefer, but the sheets and the pillows were wonderful, silky smooth. The sitting room was perfect to watch TV and the table in there was great for dinner. I rolled my eyes at the prices on the mini bar, but I imagine they are all like that. It's a resort after all.

The Grand makes it really easy to check in and out and there are plenty of amenities provided for free. Our room included four passes for the Oasis Water Park next door to our suite. They allow you to use all the resorts amenities on the day you check in before you even get your room, and after you check out for the rest of the day. Can't ask for much more than that.

All in all, I would recommend it to anyone. But especially to Arizonans for a staycation. They do deals in the summertime and you won't regret it.

I loved the room. It was spacious and very clean. A plus for me is having a safe in the room. The bed was king size and very comfortable, and the room was well insulated for noise.
I would like for the hotels to have access to the pools 24 hours as we would have liked to go on the hot tub after our company party there.
The food served by the hotel was excellent, especially given that it was a buffet.
The only down side was the phone didn't work in our room and that was very inconvenient, if there had been an emergency and we could not reach the concierge by picking up the hotel phone it could have been tragic. Given the price paid for the room, these necessities should be working!

The room key system is a bit out of date as it gets deactivated really easily. But it's been 5 years since my last visit, and the property has been well kept in that time. The waterpark was busy, but enjoyable, a good place to rest despite how busy it was.

Rooms were great, bed was comfortable, good water pressure in the shower, and didn't hear noise from neighboring rooms.

Nice grounds. Water park was fun. Wish the wave pool made bigger waves, but still fun. Rooms are big. Couch beds need new mattresses.. good time. Would stay again!

Had a great stay until we got to our room and found housekeeping had tossed our food away. It was over an hour before check out. The housekeeper was cleaning. I let her know we were still there. I had some items left in the safe, my bathing suit, snacks in the fridge, and a pizza. We were going to eat and relax after visiting starbucks. She was upset said she was going to have to clean again. She also asked when we were going to leave. I said 11am is check out she was upset. Made a face and left. Our pizza was sitting outside to be tossedand our snacks were gone. We never checked out, she assumed. I called the front desk and the manager didn't seem to care. She said "if you are not in your room we asume you left". I advised we had food and items in the room. She said " I will let her manager know". We ended up with no lunch and the whole vibe was off after. Had to go buy another lunch once we checked out. Put your do not disturbed sign if you leave your room so your entire meal doesn't get tossed and you don't get treated as if your an inconvenience by staff. Bummer is we were planning to comeback soon.

Was there for business mtg. Odd clash of vacationing families and small conference attendees. Noisy as there are pools in every courtyard, kids being kids, poor soundproofing in old buildings. Room was clean but dated furniture. Sink is outside of the small bathroom. No room service before 08:00. Annoying daily text msg to try to sell spots at their water park. Huge conference center. Catering was average. Nice staff.

Very Good Customer service able to get my Military Discount someday I wouldn't mind to come back. Very nice people Rooms are clean easy me to find the ice machine. Good breakfast buffet.

Had a great time here. Rooms were spacious for family of 5. Water park was more than enough...less crowded towards evening hours was best
..warm and less sun too...would come back again
