Dont like writing negative reviews, but this is a huge corporation doing a disservice to its employees and the customers it serves.||The good:||Airy and roomy place- feels modern and clean.||Nice pool area and beautiful koi carp in the central garden..||Lovely looking dining area & bar.||Well designed layout of buildings.||Has a small but good fitness room.||Most staff were really helpful and nice. Some really had a dedication to serve. They arranged some compensatory things for us, but ultimately nit what we needed.|| |The bad:||Corporate greed is evident everywhere you look...||Not enough staff - no service available when needed on weekend. One shift manager was unhelpful and should have done more.||They charge you for parking when you need a car to stay there...and there's free on-street parking outside the hotel. Yes, really.||There is no tidying of the pool area thru the day and no towels in the morning there- for our stay at least. ||The supplies of basics in the room, such as servicing, coffee / tea, and water boiling for drinks, are sub-par in extemis. The coffee is seriously environmentally wasteful, with LOTS of plastic used for each cup- Starbucks branded rubbish. This should be illegal.||The shower is very weak, the worst of 9 places we stayed on holiday.||We were later told that you must ask for room service (!). Why not say at the beginning? This was a basic communication breakdown by 1 shift manager at the desk.||There is a missing bedside cabinet on the bed, no luggage racks either - very inconvenient.||Lack of seating in the room - just basically in need of some furniture to sit on.||We expected a balcony- its why we chose the place and in the description of the room, but no balcony and despite issues being raised, no offer to move us when the hotel emptied out. It would have mitigated some of the lack of seating indoors... later checks reveal that only about 3 upstairs rooms have no balcony.||Thin walls meant we could hear our snoring neighbour snoring in the evening over the TV and when waking in the morning.||Summary:|Some really nice efforts of redemption made by a handful of attentive shift managmanagers so were not out of pocket, but we just didn't need the hassle.|| ||By far the worst of the 9 accommodations we stayed in on this holiday. Shame as it should have been one of the better ones when looking at the description.||Hilton Hotels would do well to get their logo off this place until they sort it out. Poor.|| || ||

We were in town for a wedding and stayed two nights here. I found the bed very comfortable, on the softer side, and good fluffy supportive pillows. Room had full length mirror and mini fridge.

Closet needed more than 4 hangers and we tried to call front desk to request more but they were never delivered. Not a ton of bathroom amenities but they were OK and towels good quality.

Overall I was very comfortable and slept well so would happily stay again! I always travel with a white noise machine so that might be the solution to the thin walls problem mentioned by other reviewers.

I had to share my experience here. I work at a Tapestry Collection property myself, so I know how important guest service is to the brand. Unfortunately, my encounter with Nick at the front desk fell short of those expectations.

I had virtually checked in and just came to the desk for a key. We weren’t greeted, and Nick simply asked for our room number and handed over the keys—no welcome, no smile, no warmth. It felt transactional, not hospitable.

Later in the evening, I went back down to ask for wine glasses. I politely asked Nick if he happened to have any glasses we could use, and again, his response made me feel like I was inconveniencing him. He gave a flat “no,” with no offer to check the bar or suggest alternatives.

Thankfully, the bartender—a kind and friendly woman—was a completely different experience. I walked into the bar area, and she immediately offered me two glasses without hesitation and asked if I needed anything else. I had two separate encounters with her during our stay, and both times she made us feel genuinely welcome and valued.

Aside from our front desk experience, the stay was wonderful. The property is beautiful, the rooms are lovely, and we met many great people. We truly hope to return—hopefully with a better first impression next time.

We stayed here with our softball team for a tournament recently. Check in was smooth, and I was given 2 water bottles (Fiji water in the room is for sale) The lobby was well decorated and plenty of spots to sit, and the restaurant was right there beyond the lobby. We had planned on eating breakfast but were running late so we skipped - I hear the food is good. The seating at the restaurant is nice - around a water feature, nice outdoor and indoor seating. They have a live band 5 nights a week currently. The rooms are well furnished BUT the walls are extremely thin and you can everything outside - people coming and going, doors, and worst of all - people in their rooms! I
was napping when suddenly I woke up because I heard someone burp - and realized it came from the room next door! I heard all of their conversation very clearly AND someone snoring during the night!!! Luckily the TV had the Calm app and I was able to drown out the noise with the rainfall track! The girls’ room had the manager called on them too… the facility def needs some upgrades and maintenance. I know this is not something the management can control but someone was smoking weed on our floor and it stunk up the entire floor! I’m glad we were only there for a night!

We stayed here several times prior to it's new ownership and loved it. Can't say the same for this trip. When we arrived there were two towels in our room. Our party was 2 adults and 2 kids. We went down to the pool, and there we no towels. Used pool phone to call and request towels, told it may be a while, they just started a load. Start talking to people at pool and several other people had called requesting towels before me. Talk to a couple who said they had no towels in their room when they arrived and they have been trying to get towels for two days with no luck. After over an hour from when I called someone came with 5 towels. Between us and others families with kids at the pool there were roughly 12 towels needed.

The following day and again there were no towels. This was the case is or four separate trips to the pool during our stay.

The building our room was in smelled like people had been smoking cigarettes in it and several times stunk of marijuana. I am not opposed to people partaking in marijuana, just don't think inside a hotel is the right location to do it.

One of the nights the room across from us was partying loudly till about 2 am.

We will not be returning here and are disappointed in what it has become.

In addition, they now allow people to bring their dogs. There was dog poop littered along majority of the walking paths.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The room was a good size, and the location is great. Staff was really nice.
Sadly, my allergies were killing in the room every time I turned the air on. The room was okay clean, but I did find a used band-aid with my sock walking around.
Using a UV light, we saw that the restroom was not clean very well.

What this hotel we had a couple of days here that were booked well in advance and they just cancelled and no reason and now they are selling the same room. Same date for a lot more money.. reading lots of other reviews they seem to have a habit of cancelling rooms or not ordering them when people turn up so just be careful

A great place to stay when we visit Aptos. Friendly service. Very clean on comfortable rooms. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. They are pet friendly for a fee. There was no microwave in our room. Not sure if they have them in others. We will be staying here again for our next visit.
