I had a second floor unit with a view of the ocean. It was great with just a few steps from the beach. I went in early October so it was not crowded and quiet. It was still warm enough to spend the day on the beach but wouldn’t recommend trying to swim.

The bathroom was small and no real place in the bedroom to keep your luggage because the bedroom was tiny as well but other than that the bed was comfortable and the unit had a functional kitchen. You are less than a ten minute drive to Mountalk or East Hampton. Good location. Would stay here again.

Ok.
Location and beach view are AMAZING! The beach is literally a few feet away from room 34.
The room is smaller than it looks in photos and the BATHROOM IS A DISASTER! Small enough to brush your teeth while you use the toilet and NO HOOKS to hang your towels. Room was clean, bed was queen not the advertised king.
Overall, it's a nice hotel, however, visit off-season to avoid the $600+ daily rates.

The cost to stay was quite expensive. It was a studio room. Our stay was for 3 nights and we paid over $500 each night. The room was cluttered with stuff. The bathroom had mold on the ceiling. It was supposed to be water view. We could hear the water but not see it because we were located on the 1st floor and there were large overgrown bushes in front of our deck area. The website states they have an indoor pool, but it’s an outdoor heated pool that was kept at 80 degrees. There’s no food at this supposed resort, no spa treatments. It’s not a resort and is more like a motel. It was very quiet though and the staff were cordial. Check in clerk not so friendly. I would not go back there.

Even though this property is marketed as a resort, it feels more like a motel with a sea-facing balcony. At $500 a night, I expected far more. While the room had a kitchen, it lacked even the basics such as coffee powder or tea bags—amenities that are often provided even in budget motels.

The AC unit leaked water into the bedroom, the spring bed was uncomfortable, and the pillows were subpar. The bathroom, while clean, was outdated and built with low-quality materials.

On the plus side, the overall cleanliness was good. However, the value for money is simply not there, and calling this a “resort” is misleading—it’s essentially a motel or inn with a nice view.

The worst sleeping experience I have ever had. Was promised a new renovated room and was given a room with 20 year old carpet that smells like mildew, mold in the showers, rusted patio chairs to sit on, and the best one is the broken queen pull out couch that you cannot sit on let alone sleep on. Had to go buy my own air mattress and deliver it to the hotel to use for the nights we were there. Asked to switch rooms was told no, front desk didn’t care at all about the condition of the room or that we had to buy an air mattress. When we told them they asked if they’d like to send someone up to show up how to use the bed like we’re dumb and have never used a pull out sofa. The only positive I could say was looking at the water but couldn’t even sit outside to enjoy it because of the rusted chairs. Would not recommend booking this hotel so many better options around.

Don’t waste your money paid $416 for NO VIEWS of the ocean (you need a telescope to see.) The bedroom so small 1 night table 1 electric plug ( for code violation) Rude front desk woman (got in at 10pm and they want us out by noon) would not even extend one hour-terrible customer service !! Seriously go anywhere else in Montauk a DUMPSTER FIRE

Absolutely incredible location. Exceeded my expectations, the beach is closer than it looks on the pictures. The rooms were modern and upscale, everything was neat and clean. The location is immaculate. There deck and balcony views of the ocean were breathtaking. I stayed in late March so got a good rate but the price overall was great. Highly recommend this location!!!

Beautiful resort directly on the beach in Amagansett! Reasonably priced for the location and the provided amenities. We stayed in room 34 in the Rapallo building which is a one bedroom condo-style room with a small kitchen (no oven), dining area, and living room along with a separate bedroom and bathroom. The real star of the show for the room is the ocean facing patio with two lounges chairs and a table for 4 with an umbrella. Stunning views of the ocean! The perfect little beach condo! The bathroom has fabulous water pressure in the shower, AC was consistently cool, bed was comfy, the kitchen was stocked with basic necessities for making meals. A comfortable, homey place to stay steps from the beach.

There’s free ice in the neighboring building a short walk away from the room and on the way to the pool. They also had vending machines with snacks and drinks for purchase. The pool was a perfect refreshing temperature and super clean, as was the pool house that also had a shower to wash off in. They also provided towels on the pool deck. The beach also included cabana services with chairs, umbrellas, chaise loungers, and towels to use included with the room and a very friendly staff member graciously arranged a perfect setup by the beach for us to spend the day.

Upon arrival, we were kindly greeted by the front desk concierge who promptly arranged for our room to be ready several hours before check in. We are so grateful for that! A free parking pass is also provided for one vehicle per room.

The hotel is nestled on the beach within a nature preserve. We had the luxury of watching a pilot whale breach from our patio while sipping morning coffee as well running into a deer attempting to go for a nice evening swim. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place.

Just a FYI…There aren’t many restaurants and stores around so bring groceries before checking in to not waste any time away from all the fabulous amenities provided on the property or plan an Instacart order. Things like coffee and salt/pepper, etc. are not provided.

If you want to dodge the nightlife and hustle and bustle of the Hamptons, the Sea Crest Resort is the perfect place. The incredible hospitality and the breathtaking location with direct access to the serene beaches and wildlife is something I will never forget. We can’t wait to plan another trip in the very near future! We also can’t thank the staff at the Sea Crest enough for their tremendous hospitality. It is our first time in Amagansett and based off our experience, it will most certainly not be our last.
