Stayed there for a couple nights before Christmas … what a great experience! Breakfasts were yummy, rooms were charming and the location beautiful. Staff were so cool, welcoming and accommodating, I would definitely come back to stay! We had a great Scramble family tournament the last night there next to a roaring fire in the fireplace! (Our son kicked our asses!). Definitely pin the place for your visit to beautiful Northern California ?

We had the most lovely stay at the SCP! We stayed in the cottage because our family was looking for an extra peaceful quiet stay. We hiked to the beach right outside our door. We worked with the manager Niki, and she went above and beyond to make our stay special. We also love the new farm-table restaurant. Our server Chelsea made us feel like family and the pizza was delicious. This was our second stay at SCP and if you are going for the first time, I would recommend reading/calling about the different accommodations. We will definitely be back.

Amazing location. We stayed in the King bed room in the lodge which was very cute. Chelsea at the front desk was extremely helpful! The bed was comfortable.

I loved that they delivered simple breakfast to my door every morning.

I would definitely stay here again.

Review Mendocino

Let me start by saying we use to love this hotel and have stayed many times before. You can no longer pick your room when booking. During our most recent visit, we were given Room 103. The hotel now has a restaurant with live music. The restaurant tables are seated right outside the window of room 103 and the live musician set up right next to one of the rooms windows. Imagine people eating dinner with a view of your hotel room, not to mention the noise. We use to enjoy the beautiful view of the woods and the peaceful atmosphere. After seeing the room, we immediately asked for a new room. We were told all the rooms in the lodge were booked and were given a room in the old farmhouse building on the first floor next to the kitchen. We were warned the kitchen might be noisy in the morning, as the room shares a wall with the kitchen and the staff begins cooking at 6 am. The room was not as nice as the lodge. The room is older, doesn’t have a wood burning fireplace (its gas), the sink sprays water onto the counter, stains on the carpet and no tv. Luckily we only stayed one night.

My wife and I went on our babymoon here and loved our experience. The property is nestled in a beautiful setting in the woods, just a short 5min drive to the town of Mendocino. The restaurant at SCP is delicious and we especially loved the fresh breakfast delivered to our door each morning! We will definitely be staying here again 🙂

My husband and I had a blast celebrating our anniversary at this B&B. They have delicious breakfast delivered to your room every morning. It's also only a 3 min drive to downtown Mendocino. We also loved how accessible the hiking trails are from the hotel! We will be coming back to stay!

The morning breakfasts are absolutely amazing! Fresh baked treats and fruit along side a delightful & different frittata each morning. The on site restaurant was also really quite lovely.

Convenient location with plenty to explore on-site. The staff were friendly and welcoming, even the llamas and chickens, adding to the overall positive experience. Breakfast was delicious and a great start to the day. We also enjoyed the pleasant surprise of a live artist after checking in, which added a unique touch. Also, the complimentary EV chargers was a thoughtful perk, making one less thing to worry about. Excellent value for the amenities and service provided.
