Salternative is a relaxing vibe the second you walk in the door. I’ve only gotten massages here but they offer so much more. Sandy is such an incredible massage therapist and I highly recommend coming to see her. She has helped me so much with pain relief and tendonitis in my elbow. You can tell she has experience and knowledge because every massage is tailored to you. She doesn’t just go through the motions and give the same massage every time which shows how much she actually cares about her clients. I love it here and everyone that works here is so kind.

Very relaxing place! You could feel it right when you come in. All the staff is very nice, friendly and accommodating. The place is very clean, they offer slippers when you come in so everything helps stay clean especially in the winter. I used the float tank and the salt cave. Both were very nice to use and clean. I felt very relaxed leaving there and will come back!

Bought 2 spa days for my girlfriend as a Christmas gift last year. Went into the actual spa, not online, and bought gift cards, which were supposed to each consist of salt room, massage, and float tank. They wrote the services I had purchased down on the gift cards. She used the first one no issues. The second time she went in, they told her that the cards were actually not for the services that were written on them, but for some other package and charged her credit card the difference. Her card, not mine. Unbelievable. The services here were excellent but be sure to not give them your credit card info. They will sell you services then tell you later you owe them money. Not to be trusted. This is one of the shadiest businesses I've ever dealt with. Be warned.

To respond to the owners response to my review, let's be clear. I went into your business. Asked to purchase 2 gift cards for these services. Your employee wrote the services on each card, by hand. Then charged my credit card for said services. Never was I contacted about there being any discrepancies in the cost. Rather, you charged my girlfriends card, which you had on file from a separate transaction, without telling her you had. For services she had no hand in purchasing. The only reason she even knew you did this was by an alert from her bank of an unauthorized transaction. If you felt you had undercharged me for the gift cards, (even though these were purchased in your place of business, at your cash register, with the services purchased hand written on each card) then I would be the one who owes you money and I should have been contacted. You really can't see how charging someone's credit card without their knowledge for services they hadn't purchased is wrong? Don't know what to say about that except I'm sorry your business is so confusing to you. Stop running offers and sales if you later go on to say that the sale price was "incorrect" and then charging clients for your mistakes. When you do make a mistake, try contacting the person who the mistake concerns, not someone unrelated to the transaction. And try to get better at being in business. I would have had some sympathy for one of your employees making a mistake, but I have none for your behavior over the course of this ordeal. I'll warn anyone who asks about what happened when I used your business. Please get better.

Upon entering Salternative, it just feels healthy. There is a yoga class to your left, slippers and the front desk in front of you, and an open area to your right. The lady at the front desk is very friendly and polite. I only experienced a flotation tank session. It is really neat that the salt keeps you up so much in the water. The water in the pod is about the depth of a tub, but the salt is what you go for. Is it relaxing? Yes. Are you salty afterward? Yes! Is it easy to relax? Yes, except that I couldn't fully relax my neck even though the salt water keeps you fully afloat. I definitely recommend keeping the color changing light on inside the pod as it is somehow relaxing as well. I'd recommend bringing your own earplugs as the disposable ones wouldn't stay in. For me, I felt like a full hour was a little too long. For someone that mediated or relaxes more easily, they may enjoy the full hour. As recommended, eat a little beforehand and drink plenty of water afterward. Following the float, you use their locker room which is also nice and clean. There is a relaxation (waiting) room with comfy couches and it just smells healthy. I don't know how, but it does. I loved that they (see pic) use glasses for the drinking water and ask ppl not to waste water when showering. Overall, the place is really nice, albeit you must watch for the signs to find it. In terms of the float, an hour was a little long for me, but a comfortable experience. I did not experience any of their other services so I have not commented on the yoga, massages, etc. Worth checking out!

This is one of the best spa that I have been. Facilities are clean, spacious, roomy, well lit and most of all service and staff is wonderful. I used the salt room and it was worth it. They have other options that I look forward to using later. Overall - a great place for you to escape your stresses.

I went to do silicone cupping last week with Sandy and she was INCREDIBLE!!! normally I don't leave reviews but this place is amazing! The setting was lovely and calming definitely set the mood! I had a insane huge muscle knot for almost 5 months and was recommended this place and to try cupping from a friend and it's definitely worth it! The pain I lived with for 5 months after just ONE 1 hour session with sandy and my pain is gone! Definitely will he coming back! Highly recommend her !!!!

Went to this Spa to celebrate my nieces's birthdays and it was a fantastic experience. From the massage, to the salt room, to the super hot sauna. Great staff.
