My dude. If you want an experienced hairstylist with reasonable prices, go see Amanda Beran at Salon Haiku in Shorewood, IL.

I've been Amanda's client for many years and owe her a huge shout out for helping me reach my hair goals (aka long and healthy hair) & can I just say...

This. Girl. Knows. Hair.

Before I began seeing Amanda, I struggled with my hair my whole life. The best way to describe it was "angry" at best.. so much so I eventually just gave up on it. I also had terrible anxiety at the time, so the idea of sitting in a stranger's chair trying to keep up with small talk made me avoid haircuts like the plague.

Then everything changed for me when I met Amanda. I remember as a new client thinking she was so personable and genuine. She's very friendly, but not over the top, and I just felt comfortable going back to see her.

The first time I went in, I LITERALLY told her my "angry" hair is like a tiny fire breathing dragon terrorizing the village people... You would think Amanda made it her personal goal to "fix" my hair after that because with her guidance (and some time) I finally have hair I am proud of and know what to do (and avoid) to keep it that way.

I recently decided to add some fun color after being a dark brunette my whole life and Amanda did a SUCH A WONDERFUL JOB!!

Since I've started going to Amanda B. at Salon Haiku I will never go anywhere else! Cuts, color, and highlights have always turned out perfect! Prices are pretty great and I like the cleanliness and atmosphere as the salon as a whole. I've never had to wait to get into my appointment and have always walked out satisfied (and when it comes to my hair I'm pretty picky!)

I went to this salon for a wash, steam and blowdry dry and was serviced by Nicole. Although she is very nice it took around 4 hours for her to complete my service and she heat damaged my hair. I have natural hair and now it no longer curls when wet. It looks like a stingy perm and I will need to have it cut. I would not recommend at all!
