Stayed at the Sage & Sand Motel for 4 nights on a fishing trip! The manager, Judi, was so nice. The room was freshly painted and clean. The beds were clean and the showers were hot! We were provided with clean towels and a quiet nights rest for a very affordable price. Also, the location is quite convenient as well. Walking distance from the beautiful downtown of Casper and all of its great restaurants, bars, and shops!

Will be retiring to the Sage & Sand on my next fishing trip!

Talked with the new general manager, she said a lot of changes are being made.

Clean and comfortable, and you can't beat the price! Any of the negative reviews are either old or are unreasonable. For a cheap motel near downtown Casper, this is a great value.

Me and my mom stayed her last night on our road trip. They gave us a 2 bed room for a 1 bed price. Checked the bed and corners, no evidence of bugs of any kind. Clean sheets, clean carpet, clean bathroom and they even had cable. It's nothing fancy, but it will do for an afordable place to spend the night.

Casper is an oil boom town, and many hotel/motels are very expensive. The Sage and Sand was clean, comfortable, and very affordable. ($55 commercial driver rate for single) The "truck parking" was a little iffy (Room for one truck by the fence - had to back in off the street) but very doable for any other vehicle type including RV's. Manager is the owner and has obviously put some effort into updating and remodeling since he bought it 4 years ago. (He was working on a unit when I arrived.) Ammenities are a little plain (small tv, no coffee maker) but if you're looking for a clean, comfortable, budget minded room, they are hard to beat, especially here.

The exterior looks stark but if you want a clean and comfortable room where you don't feel as though you are buying the bed, this is the right place. It was close to the town and easy to find. The room was spacious, the wifi worked well and there was plenty to watch on tv.

Lol! What can I say? It was the cheapest room I could get. I've had much worse for the same price. So, that is why I gave it a 3 stat rating. Basic basic basic...I can tolerate A LOT when I'm dead tired. I paid, entered, showered with my flip flops on, walked around with my socks on, slept, & left fairly rested for my next day of traveling about 700 miles towards home. Easy access to the main roads & a large enough parking area for my dually/40' trailer. $60 I think..?

Stayed at this motel while i was in casper for work. It is a little country motel. the managment was a breath of fresh air in the city. Clean, affordable, and works with you at times if they can. i would definately stay here again and recommend anyone that wants the country setting in the city to try.

This place is the worst place I have ever stayed had to ring a door bell to get the clerk to open the unlock the door to check in (should have been my first hint). Then shower and tub had black mold on the edges. The best part they have repainted the room but they never removed the wall hangings so they painted around them. the TV never shut off no Tv guide Toilet chain missing they used wire to fix so the toilet would run. Note on wall do not call front desk after 10 Oclock as they where in bed. and it is in the slums of Casper.
