Beautiful location by the Mississippi! The old house is gorgeous. Our room was perfect for our overnight needs. Everything was clean and well-stocked. Sadly, we weren’t able to stay long enough to try breakfast (which sounded fantastic). The screened in porch looking at the river offered a great way to end the night and a wonderful way to watch the sunrise!

We recently stayed at Sharon's bed and breakfast for two days, and we had a wonderful experience. Sharon was an outstanding host who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Her friendly and warm demeanor immediately put us at ease, and we felt like we were staying with a friend.
The cleanliness of the place was impeccable. The entire place was exclusively for our use, which added an extra layer of privacy and comfort to our stay. One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious breakfast that Sharon prepared for us each morning. The aroma of the coffee brewing in the morning was simply heavenly and added an extra touch of warmth to our mornings.

My adult son and I visited Sharon’s Sabula Castle on the Mississippi in July 2023 and enjoyed our stay greatly. Sharon was extremely hospitable and attentive, and is a very interesting person. She gave us good tips for local restaurants and bars and she makes a wonderful breakfast. Beds were comfy, rooms were clean and everything worked well and was easy. Thanks Sharon. Five stars - highly recommend if you are passing through.

If you want a wonderful getaway for the weekend The castle bed and breakfast is the place. right on the Mississippi river with a beautiful viewAnd great atmosphere. Sharon is a wonderful hostess and made us feel at home and she’s also a wonderful cook everything was delicious and she didn’t get mad when I spilled my juice on her beautiful table. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home. The castle is definitely a five star bed and breakfast all the way around. Princess Rhonda and I already booked another trip for December and we would highly recommend everyone to check this place out. Welcoming, warm and fun - Sharon is the most fantastic host. The breakfast was amazing. Loads of French toast, warm maple syrup and a yummy fruit parfait. ||You share a bathroom and breakfast with other guests. This creates a warmth and intimacy which we really enjoyed.||The shower was powerful and piping hot, and the bathroom is thoughtfully equipped with everything you could imagine forgetting. ||A great place!
