Rose's has done a credible job remodeling a vintage motor motel. It is of higher standards than most Comfort Inns I've stayed at and won't again. The room was clean, well appointed, though not like a chain brand, bed was great, bath linens and supplies were great. I had a quiet night. Rose's is a bit off the freeway on a downtown side street with some great local eateries and a great coffee shack next door. The bonus was I was able to book a full massage chair following a week clearing trails in the Chiricahua Wilderness! The price for this kind of accommodation may appear high but I believe it was of good value.

We're pretty seasoned travellers and we're keenly aware that 'negative' reviews impacts on small businesses. We had a warm greeting from Shelly on arrival and check in was straightforward. We felt that our room was rather run down and shabby. On return from dinner we simply did not feel comfortable or safe and we decamped at 8.00 p.m. and went to another hotel. Sorry, just not for us.

I make the two-day round-trip from South Texas to California a couple of times a year and stay in Willcox because it's the halfway point for me. I was getting tired of the chain hotels being not all that great for the price and wanted to try something new. After checking the reviews, I gave Rose's Motel a try both on the way out and on the way back. I'm happy to report that it so gets the job done. Rooms are big, clean, and everything in them works. The location is quiet, staff is super friendly and helpful, and the price is lower than the big chains. Is this a five-star hotel? Of course not but that's not what I need (and if it was, I wouldn't be staying in Willcox 😉). What I need is a clean, quiet, comfy, and safe room at a decent price and I get that here. Others obviously agree as the "No Vacancy" sign was up both nights I arrived so make a reservation in advance and don't wait until the last minute. And if you're a fellow traveler, there is plenty of food and gas down where you get back on the I-10 freeway. I'll be back for sure.||Are there any minuses? There always are so I better mention them lest you think this is a shill review. It's a motel, not a hotel, so parking is that pull up in front of your room kind. It can be a bit of a tight squeeze between the office and the parking spaces but you can make it. If you want some ice, you're going to need to go to the office, ring the bell, and have it scooped for you. That's a minus just because I hate to bother the staff early in the morning to scoop ice for me. That's all I can think of.

I've stayed in some of the "nicest hotels" in arizona, but this place is my favorite by far. They have treated me like family at far too cheap of price. Down home feel with no hassles. I guess one of the best things for me is that you can park right in front of your room door. Very clean place no bugs, no corporate B/S. Shame on you for not staying here if your needing a place to rest in Wilcox.

My wife and I stayed here February 15, 2025 and we are so glad we did! It’s an older motel away from the hwy so it’s very quiet. Our room was very clean Miss Shelly was wonderful she brought us a second set of towels and even one for our puppy dog. I inquired about the ice machine and she brought us a ziplock full of ice when she brought the towels. So sweet of her! This is now our go to place to stay when we travel from Tx to Ca. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Nestled in a quaint corner of town, the charming old motel exudes a vintage allure that whispers tales of yesteryears. This property, while endearing in its retro charm, shows signs of aging and could benefit from a touch of tender loving care.

Upon arrival, the motel doesn't immediately dazzle with grandeur, but there's an unmistakable warmth to it, reminiscent of cozy roadside retreats from decades past. The staff at the front desk greet guests with genuine smiles and a welcoming demeanor, clearly going to great lengths to imbue the place with a friendly atmosphere. Their hard work is evident, offering a steadfast commitment to maintaining a positive experience despite the establishment's limitations.

The rooms, primarily clean and comfortable, present a curious juxtaposition of nostalgia and necessity. While they serve the essential purpose for a weary traveler, there are noticeable maintenance issues that could use some attention, such as slightly worn furniture and fixtures in need of repair. Though the absence of any in-room coffee makers, coupled with the lack of a coffee station in the lobby, may disappoint caffeine lovers, the motel compensates with serene quietness that promises a restful night's sleep.

Situated on tranquil grounds, the property provides a peaceful reprieve from busier surroundings. However, for all its quaintness and charm, the cost is somewhat steep when compared to the amenities offered. One might find that the price tag reflects more of its nostalgic value rather than modern conveniences.

Overall, this little motel presents a nostalgic getaway that offers a glimpse into the past. With a little update and the right care, it has the potential to be a truly remarkable stop on any journey. For now, it stands as a quiet, if somewhat pricey, refuge along the road, buoyed by the dedication of its hardworking staff and the legacy of simpler times.

Very friendly staff and willing to accommodate guests. Each room has a unique theme, and I stayed in the Harley-Davidson room, which was also clean and quiet. My needs were simple.
