It's off the beaten track in Fayette Alabama. But it's a beautiful house, with an adorable "cottage" in the back. Nice rooms. Very nice dining area. I'll be going again when I travel through Alabama.

I decided to visit the Rose House to see if they do baby showers and how much to reserve a room, but unfortunately I was unable to speak with anyone. I did not see an office, had a hard time finding their drive and when I tried to enter the house to make my inquiries, it was locked.

Such a missed opportunity here. I'm sorry to say that customer service is gone. Only stayed 1 night, but never saw anyone. No friendly greeting upon arrival and we were in the main house. No hot breakfast as advertised and bed (mattress) was very old and uncomfortable. The bathroom was good w/hot shower and small heater provided. The house is lovely and I'm usually a fan of antiques, don't even mind old creaky floors, but we won't likely stay here again. At cost advertised, I didn't feel we got a good value.

We stayed in the “cottage.” Very cute room. Extra clean. Patricia was extremely nice and helpful. Had a continental breakfast rather than traditional but lots of options, some fruit that the other guests ate. Beds were very comfy. I would recommend this place.

What a disappointment. Rooms were hot and tiny. Bathroom was very small. No breakfast served as the reviews on the website would lead you to believe. We walked in and walked out. Guest book full of complaints. In town for one night and wanted a quaint antique room with a warm breakfast and thats not happening here.

Nice Place! Quiet and Quaint. I would recommend the stay. I arrived late, found my key and got to my room on my own. Clean room and a nice quiet sleep. I would call it an Inn more than a B&B. It does not have a large dining room and family style dining like you see in a lot of the New England B&Bs. So food is NOT on the agenda here. Breakfast is serve yourself coffee with prepackaged granola bars etc., similar to your budget hotels. But the house and the town are quaint and it’s a great place to stay as I was passing by on a long trip.

We were satisfied with the accommodation at this nice old home and enjoyed the privacy it affords. No one was there except during part of the breakfast service. It is a buffet and all very good except most of it is cold. Pancakes, muffins, ham, bacon all would be better if it was warm. The sweet lady is 85 years old and serves as a very imformative guide to the history of the town. We enjoyed her company. My #1 complaint is that the antique bed was half made up and the fitted sheet came up which made for a sleepless, cold night with no cover. Housekeeping should pay more attention to details and guest could enjoy their visit more.I made the bed myself the next morning and slept perfectly fine that night. A good inn could be much better and bring more business to this little town with a few updates and careful attention to little things. I would go back because the rates are reasonable and the property is well taken care of.

My son has recently moved to the area, and this was the perfect place to spend the night. It was conveniently located. Communication was great. I hade everything I needed and was very comfortable. I definitely will stay there again when visiting Fayette.
