My now husband and I wanted no more than 150 people at our wedding. Room 1520 was perfect because that is the maximum guest limit for a plated dinner! Celeste, the co-owner of the venue, is so easy to work with! She is warm, friendly, and truly wants your event to be successful. She gives you a detailed brochure with information on the required bar package you choose, experienced vendors that make wedding planning so much easier, and approved caterers. Because of all of this excellent information, my husband and I were able to plan our wedding and reception ourselves in 6 months. We were able to load in our wedding and reception items 2 days before our wedding. The bar mirror was personalized prior to our rehearsal. We completed our rehearsal the night before our wedding. On the day of the wedding, we utilized the gorgeous bridal suite for getting ready, the many beautiful on site photography locations, had the wedding ceremony, flipped the room during cocktail hour, and then had our reception. Celeste’s hired staff are relaxed, fun, and host a great party! Max, the Manager on site for the day, was extremely helpful and accommodating for anything we needed. We highly recommend Room 1520!

Working with both the staff at Room 1520 & the location itself many times over the years, we have grown to absolutely love this venue! From the flexibility of the space to the options provided in their packages, our clients have absolutely loved their experiences. The space is simple yet modern. The staff is amazing and prepared for everything an event could throw at them. By far, our favorite thing is how amazing the space looks with a little decor and filled with your family and friends! Our clients love our Photo Booth experience and how the setup in the front of the venue is perfectly placed by the bar, allowing their guests to freely roam the space after dinner without feeling cramped or crowded. We highly recommend having your next event at Room 1520!

Celeste and her team at Room 1520 were incredible to work with! The venue itself is beautiful and we were so excited to have our 90 guest wedding there on 3/22/2024. Celeste was so helpful and responsive leading up to our wedding and her and her team ensured that everything was taken care of on our wedding day. Our signature cocktails tasted so good and we loved being able to use the bridal suite to get ready. We received a lot of compliments from guests on the space itself, would highly recommend considering Room 1520 for your wedding day or any other event!

I'm a wedding photographer who recently photographed a wedding at Room 1520. I love the space! It is on the smaller side but has everything you need for great photos: a cute bridal suite, a rooftop for sunset photos (facing away from city skyline, just a heads up), seating areas, blank walls, natural light and helpful staff. They also have a lovely outdoor courtyard/alley area with bistro lights that is excellent for night portraits or a sparkler send off (photo examples below). Parking is easy and I would love to work here again.

Room 1520 took us in when our first wedding venue abruptly closed a few months out from our wedding date, and we can't be more thankful! Not only were they so generous with they're pricing, but their professionalism and responsiveness were so much better than a lot of other venues we looked at and made the choice a really simple one. In the end, we can't imagine having our wedding anywhere else! It was so beautiful and so perfect for our group of 65. They worked really well with our other vendors and made everything run so smoothly so we could focus on enjoying the night. They're really a top notch team and an easy choice for an incredible wedding venue!

Really more like 3.5 stars - Room 1520 is a gorgeous space! We loved the industrial feel but it was more elevated than other venues due to the white walls, chandeliers, marble bar and chiavari chairs. There are plenty of windows to let in natural light and two outdoor areas you can use for photos. There is a lot included in this rental & price compared to others! I used the bridal suite to get ready in which was perfect - there are 2 vanities, a table that sits about 6 and two or three sofas. You also get the rental for a perfect about of time, we found some venues didn't offer the same but 1520 is pretty flexible with it. We had about 85 people at our wedding and the space was really perfect for it. In my opinion you can fit 120 and it would still be comfortable!
However, we did find some aspects of working with this venue to be challenging. We didn't use a wedding planner so we worked with them directly heavily. When we toured the owner said she charges extra if you need to access the space early (it is also mentioned in the contract) but she verbally said she wouldn't charge us the fee. At the end of the day she did charge us the fee.
I recommend asking for more bar package details so you know what is an upcharge and what is not. Additionally, specify what liquor you want used in your signature drinks. We did not and my friends told me the bartenders said they were not used the top shelf liquor we paid for in the signature drinks.
We also had a lot of back and forth on the contract early on just trying to get the right information on it (I didn't experience that much back and forth with anyone else). And their payment schedule was incorrect so I recommend tracking that yourself.
Again, beautiful venue and I would recommend but I wish it was smoother working with them.

I have had a few opportunities to photograph at Room 1520, and I can not rave enough about this space! The chandeliers, natural light, white walls, and white ceilings make this space a photographer’s dream. Add in the kindest of planners and venue managers; any couple would be so well taken care of and happy to marry here. Do yourself a favor and schedule a tour so you can see for yourself how beautiful this space is! You won’t be disappointed 🙂

We were married just 2 days ago and I could not wait to post this review. We did the all inclusive package with Room 1520 and let me tell you this is absolutely where you want to have your wedding. We had DJ, Photo Booth and day of coordinator included and every single service went above and beyond our expectations. Nicole and Alison helped us make so many important decisions and ensured the day went smooth. We are still on cloud 9. My guests could not stop commenting on how beautiful the venue was. We barely needed decor because this space is so beautiful itself. Thank you for making our day perfect.
